Some other ideas:

Last time I stayed in Manchester we went to a bar in the Northern Quarter called Apotheca which was really cool. Fab cocktails and trendy without being full of d*ckh**ds - had some nice sofas and cocktails served in teacups. Next door is a pizza place called Dough which was good as well.

One of my favourite places to eat is La Vina on Deansgate - lovely tapas and a bit more of a romantic feel.

How about going to the Comedy Store? I think they have a couple of shows on a Friday and Saturday - you can see who is playing online.

The Night and Day Cafe is a good choice if she is into music - again you'll have to check online to see who is on.

If when you escort her back to her hotel she asks you to come up - then yes she is hoping you will stay IMHO

Would you say those places are more date taking places? maybe a trip on the wheel aswell?

I think the trip on the wheel is a good idea

I'm walking away from mine personally- Lying has that effect, saying your having aquiet night and then saying you had a great date with someone has that effect

A trip on the wheel is an excellent idea - it is a bit unexpected, which is always good.

I wouldn't worry too much about picking the perfect "date" place. Don't think you have to spend loads of money and try and impress her. It is best to go somewhere where you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Don't forget she is willing to travel 250 miles and pay for a hotel to see you again - SHE REALLY LIKES YOU

We had system issues and she actually text me saying "Haha you broke work, keep it broke. hope youre okay! thinking of you, cannie wait till friday"

I know secretly she wants to do the wheel. so thats what we will do. but just planning where to go!

I did have a work colleague come and tell me he "did her" and kissed her and such, Actually quite confused

Nothing at all and whatever you do don't ask her about it - that will make you look jealous/insecure/like you are going to start playing twenty questions about anyone she has ever kissed.

If it isn't true (most likely) - ignore him he is just trying to wind you up as he is probably jealous.

But this (apparently) happend when we were getting close. She was a bit funny with me the day after. Unless of course he tried it on, got knocked back and she felt funny. I'm not bothered. He did look jealous come to think of it.

I won't raise it no. that would be silly of me. Just stresses me out what your work mates can do

Maybe I'm to forginving on this sort of thing but I would think of it this matey

He had his chance, He got blown off by her. She still comes to you through everything.

Maybe worth just saying that she makes you smile (clearly she does) and see if she says the same back.

It should be based on what you've said.

Its not a issue for me- like one of my friends has said, its better to wait for the right one then settle for the wrong one

She always saying I make her smile and she loves me.

But he is just going round the office saying I am having his rejects. I don't care what he say/the office thinks. just why he is saying it. I'm not going to ask her about it.
