Awwwww how nice, go for it, good luck to you, just enjoy x
    I'm not a "SINGLE" mum, I'm a "DOUBLE" mum!:D
  • Congrats matey- I'm in sorta of a similar position but we both work in the same office and she is moving closer to work.

Just we haven't yet been out properly yet, we've had dinner a few times and we text like 200 times a day always ended with 4-5 x's

I'm not sure yet which way its going, cause she has just come out of a relationship 4 months ago as well and has said she wants to move on and get back to her old self, but at the same time she wants to see me more and get to know me more

Sort of 1/2 hoping it leads on cause she just makes me smile all the time and I feel like a totally different guy when she's there. But on the other hand I'm not sure with her saying she wants to move on and get back to being her self.

Thinking of just waiting till she moves up her and we have been out a few times and see were it leads
  • We do all the texting and facebooking. We've been down the bay on drinks nights and such and just talked.

She asked me last night if I was serious about taking it further as she really likes me and hopes its not a dream. So I am all good

Im just really confused this morning. Its my first day back in my home office and I just feel empty and wierd. Apart of me wants to go to the new office but a part of me tells me this weekend will be amazing. I really don't know what to do to snap out of it

Edit: Like now I know she will be at her desk and I used to love doing the whole good morning thing with her :)

Think of it like any other new relationship. You both have your own lives and won't just spend 24x7 with each other straight away. Text, fb chat, Skype and phone each other and arrange to see each other regularly. 250 miles is a long way, but it is easier to start at 250 miles apart than it is to be together then move 250 miles away....

  • Aw! How sweet!!

I met my fiance at work. I worked in the office, he worked as a site fabricator, but based in the same town. Work relationships can, and do work!

    Good luck! x

  • I would say 100% turn off the practicality switch. These things don't happen every day. If it feels like you shouldn't be saying goodbye to somebody then maybe you shouldn't..

We are so far apart but facebook and skype works well, Miss her cuddles and our sneaky rendevous round the office (Our office was told no fraternisation with the women folk :P) We can talk "shop" and not get bored
