So confused

So at work I am project managing the opening a new office in another town. This is all going well and on schedule much to my surprise (no real hickups)
I've opened new offices before and always got attached to the town/
One of the advisors (its a call centre) over the last 2/3 weeks I've got to know well, They were training them whilst we was building/kitting out the contact centre. When I was with the IT lads she would come over and talk and tell me about her and ask about me.
On Monday just gone. (My previous roles I was a coach/team manager in the same company) I was coaching a team, coincidently her team. I was coaching her, and she kept looking at me and smiling, I was trying to show her what to do and she randomly come out with "Want to go for a drink tonight" I said ok.
As I am away from my home site. I get expenses, so I said want to go for food first? She agreed and offered to pay for her share to which I declined. We had a few drinks and ended up in the hotel. SHe had missed her last bus home and I was trying to arrange a cab. I couldn't get one to go to her area so I offered her the spare bed in my hotel room (it was a twin) she accepted and we talked. the beds were together but seperate if you get me.
I wake up the next morning to find her cuddled up to me (Nothing happened)
Throughout the week we got closer she took me for lunch/meals and I took her back.
On friday, We were all heading back home I was telling the team it would be nice to head back home "for a holiday" (It wasn't a holiday we were in our "Home" office for 2 weeks to catch up on stuff there)
She looked upset. On lunch she begged me not to forget her I told her I'd be back in two weeks to sign the project off AND I'd never ever forget her.
I actually do really like her (too early to say love) shes the same age. likes alot of the same things its unreal.
So where I need help:
I am guessing (I will win a prize for most pointless question here) she really likes me.
Has anyone here had a long distance relationship? How does it work for you. Do you get to see each other often? I travel alot with work but do get week's off at times.
Do office relationships ever work?

No others. She split from her ex about 3 months ago.
I am all over the UK with work and I just wonder if she will stick around or get bored when I might not be able to spend more than 2 days with her a week for a few months then have a whole week together.0 -

If its meant to be she will.
When I met my now husband he was in the army, and we went through 4 years of seeing each other approx every 6 weeks, not to mention a tour and him being posted to Germany. I would have loved 2 days a week!!0 -
I think you need to have a chat with her & see if you can see a way to get together.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0

I couldn't have a LDR 250 miles apart.
Wait until she asks you what is happening next? She may just be messing you around. Good luck.0 -
