  • Welcome aboard Spykey :)
and any other newbies I've missed

Right I've done a massive chilli and fried onions to make burgers. Which means I've trashed the kitchen :(

So I'm gonna step out of there and try to do half hour in the lounge. Anyone want to join me HHC at 11:30? Or a bit before if I can get up :)

And for Jojo You have lovely kitty cats! I'd love one but these three might have something to say about it - they dont always look like this ;)

Upsidown gray one is Shadow, black and white is Mystic and the yawning slightly overweight beagle is Toffee :)

Mystic's moulting in massive clumps so that'll be the first job - think you can see some fluff clumps just beneath her there LOL

    In my HHC I've

    Stripped bed
    Loaded WM with above
Hoovered hall, stairs and some of the DR
    Cleared drainer
Washed last lot of dishes - well until I've had my dinner
    Cleaned hob
Put CS bags in hall ready to go - probably tomorrow

I'm going to do another HHC @ 11.30 then I'll have some dinner.

    I'm with you nixie.

Jerry's hair doesn't come out in clumps it comes out singly and attaches itself to everything - I think that's worse than clumps sometimes!

Those are lovely dogs! And Beagles have to be my most favourite in the world! I did the furry tumbleweeds yesterday afternoon, so there aren't so many of them this morning - but I do love hard flooring and leather sofas - I'd be a permanent snotgoblin if it weren't for them. :)

    WM done.

Attempt to fix the washing lines scuppered by rain :( back to TD :(:(

Exhausted spats busy making use of the sunshine creeping in through the front window, still ignoring the rain out the back.

Made a start on the coffee table, then turned around and -

    oh, good grief.

Off to get the glass cleaner for the mirror, shelves and TV unit now.

I've taken the dry stuff off the airer and put it in the ironing basket , put a load of washing on the line, it's triple pegged so i'm hoping it doesn't blow away  and refilled the wm. I'm really off to do some work now.

Hi all; I'm in this week, apart from tomorrow.;) Thanks FCC for the lists.:o In the spirit of not running myself into the ground with the lists, I've grabbed today's and immediately deleted what we did over the weekend (or more accurately, what Mr LW did before his back went funny – see paragraph below):( and what doesn't apply here – f'r instance, I don't have house-plants.:o

We have our box of miscellaneous goodies for the RSPCA; didn't get the big wooden chest in the spare room moved and hoovered under though, as Mr LW has done something to his back – or rather he bent to do something totally ordinary, and it went “ping” iyswim.:( So no way I'm asking him to move heavy furniture.

I really must in view of this, get on top of getting a bath lift. I tried emailing a company an age ago, and am still waiting for a reply – and it's kinda got put on a back burner. So, when we pop into Newport Pagnell tomorrow, I think we'll visit MK Mobility while we're there, and see if they can help us.:o

Dancing in the rain welcome – I'm disabled, too, though neither a mother nor a student. I am, however, familiar with dog-hair, as I'm a host for a dog-sitting service.;) What sort of woofer do you have?:o

Bramble hi; nice to see you. How's Grandad doing? (I'm a tad behind with reading the Daily thread).:o

One important job I did get done was email the dog-sitting service to find out what time to expect Clive and Derek on Thursday; I gather they'll be here about 10:30,:T and Mr LW tells me his pal A is coming over that evening!

Jojo thanks for the puddy-tat pics.:D Froddy I shall look forward to pics of the Furries when you get chance.:o

MummyEm I used to try and clean the whole bungalow in a day, too – then spent the rest of the week unable to move! Welcome aboard!:o

    Welcome Spykey also.:o

Nixie Lovely pic – Shadow looks really relaxed!:D

Right, I'm going to try for HHYoga (to get my joints moving without me swearing), then a spot of lunch, then see if I can at least dust the lounge.;):o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
