Bonnie when Mr LW was out of work, some of the JobCentrePlus staff were like that with him; others were as nice as pie.

I think, in some cases, they get so used to dealing with the people who don't want to try and help themselves, that they can't switch off the "attitude" when they get a client who does do everything they can, iyswim.

It's hard not to take it personally (I know, because Mr LW was quite flummoxed by the attitude some of them took with him), but trust me, they'd be like it with anyone, possibly excluding royalty.

Good luck, and remember non carborundum illegitematus (don't let the barstewards grind you down).;)

Thank you - I'll remember that :D Off I go....

I did manage to get some sleep, got up at 11.30 :o
I've had a call from Oasis, the woman I'm working with was on holiday last week so had to tell her everything that went on :( she's going to be in court when XH is there tomorrow and has promised to phone me.
I relaid this to the boyfriendish bloke but he's being offish again. Of course this makes my imagination do overtime, especially when he's been on the p*ss over the weekend and I never get any reassurance from him :(
Of course this on top of what's already in my head has lead to CBA when it comes to house work :o
I've managed to over lentil the slow cooker which won't impress the DD's, so I'll definitely be freezing it
DD1 is having dinner at the boyfriend's tonight, don't know what to do for DD2 and myself tonight.
I'm currently debating whether to put my towels on the line. It's nice and sunny out there but very, very windy which would dry them but I don't want to end up chasing them round the garden if they get blown off the line.
