    Hey all - listy searching..

Havent caught up with the thread properly as at a quick skim, it seems to be mostly about poorlies and health issues, and I cant contribute or offer any advice, so hugs all round to you all. hope you all manage to get back to flying real soon....except for LW - you are the exception to that and it seems like you may still be overdoing it! Almost fainting... not good Mrs!! Take it easy! xx

Valli - glad you managed to replace the jug - my lasange dish has a big chip in it now and I dont know how on earth ill replace it. Bought it from a carboot for 50p - its a bit like this but without the handles... so if you see anything like it on sale... let me know :) I had a longer rectangular one too and my uncle smashed it, funnily enough, he did not offer to replace it...

MrsChoas - I did not read your post on purpose as between emptying my house and especially in the garage I have come across some monstrous spiders over the last few days. Whatever happened you have my utmost sympathy and thank you so much for the disclaimer... Im far to fragile to read about them at the minute as I am premanently freaking out that they are on me somewhere already!

Anyway - need to find and update a list...

I have packed a box with paperwork and folders from the desk area this morning, and went through some of little ones toys yesterday so am off to get those put away in the cupboard under the stairs and then do something else...

Love hugs sticks and spoons as required xx

  • i have one thing to say

    DIAZEPAM IS WONDERFULL STUFF.

my flying today is taking DS1 school stuff to my mums to be ironed as even though the diazepam means i can move my neck and shoulder more and im not in near so much pain i am not being as stupid as to try to iron!

hope everyone is well today. im delerously happy as i no longer feel sick and i havent fainted today!
  • adamantine a word of warning about diazepam. even though you feel much better and mobile today, seriously dont overdo it as even small things like lifting the washing etc will contribute to you doing to much so that when it wears off you are in agony again. take it very very slow and gentle and get the kids to lift and shift the ironing for you!

also i dont know if you are driving to your mums or not, but please dont drive when you've taken it as it can make your reaction time slower and whilst you might feel fine to drive others will notice that your not. when i take it i end up feeling like im drunk and wrapped in cotton wool, but other than that it makes the pain go away and is a miricle drug.

flying wise have put a load of washing in and out on the airer already, decluttered some tv and breakfast and thats about it. i need to get moving as i dont want the place to be cluttered when my mum is here, so that means my room of doom aka spare room has to be done today and tomorrow.
  • Good morning :D

DW emptied, 1 load in WM, DW stacked, cat bleugh scrubbed from landing carpet :(, breakfast had.

Need to make a shopping list. We are heading to visit MIL, as she lives in a new town & DD2 wants to take 'urban' landscape pictures. So i am waiting for her & DS to get dressed & then I think we are heading out. Hoping to get the washing hung out & the next load on before we go.

I have a sore throat & a fuzzy head this morning. My kids have had a bit of a cold this week, so looks like it's my turn now :( It is September after all - lots of germies! This time last year it was the same, but it turned into a chest infection that came & went a few times, & lingered 'til after christmas  Hopefully this year will be different ;)

OK - shopping list; check WM & meal plan while I am waiting for everyone else.

ETA DH has just 'checked' the downstairs smoke alarm - he is cooking bacon :rotfl::rotfl:
  • Morning all

Goodintentions - I've had to clean up 2 lots of cat bleugh from lounge carpet this morning  thankfully it's being replaced in the next few months.

    TD on for towels.

Have decluttered 2 crossiants and a cuppa.

Must must clean out my car (it could be described as a skip:o)

    Happy sunday all x

Morning all, so far OH has been dropped off at the airport and kids have been to sunday school. Pork in the sc for later so still need to peel the spuds. My plans for today are very little, gonna get the kids to pick out a few things for christmas and sort the washing. :D

adamantine glad your feeling better but please be careful with this drug, i know it's a great drug but I'm sure you know it's highly addictive and a !!!!!! to come down off. My OH has been on it 10 years and till only a few months ago was on 60mg a day, it's took alot to get him to down the dose because he's so used to it and it doesn't have the same effect anymore.

Right i best go put some clothes away.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j

i am fine on the diazepam. im on the lowest dose of 2mg 3 times a day and im only taking half a tablet at a time. i took in total 1 tablet yesterday spread over 12 hours. im still in pain coz im not taking the full does but i know that if i still feel the pain i wont overdo it and make my shoulder worse. i havent taken any today but i do feel it getting worse after my shower and trying to brush my hair so ill see how long i can go without taking any and once im at my folks ill take then and get my dad to take us home as he needs the car tomorrow anyway.

im roping my dad into taking me to the supermarket too coz i need to stock up on DS2 milk and i cant carry it all myself lol.

the only ironing is the school uniform for about 5 shirts and a couple pairs of trousers. the rest can wait lol.
