Same here, not personally bothered about the sin bit, not a religious person myself, and when my DP was asked by a Priest recently what religion he followed he said 'Jedi' :rotfl: says it all doesn't it.

Oh my god that is what my hubby always says he is a jedi knight!!:rotfl:

  • dlb thanks for sharing, it's a lovely story, glad it turned out so well. i so glad you told your son early, rather than he find out later and resent it. one of my ex boyfriends was very bitter and hurt when he found out, late teens, that his parents were actually his grandparents and his older sister, who was banished, was actually his mum. he always suspected he was adopted and when she turned up one day at the door crying, he knew she was his mum. turned out he had a half sister and got to see her every friday night as she came to stay with her grandparents once the truth came out. i suppose through all the secrets he'd lost his mum /auntie and his half sister had lost her grandparents.

In fact DS is the only one to be conceived in marriage. I was 51/2 months pregnant with DD1 and had to wear a corset when I got married to hide the bump :D DD2 was a nice surprise that we only discovered the night before we got married. I sent DH a text message to tell him on the way home from his stag night, he promptly went straight back into the nearest pub for a quick drink :D

 Bet he hasn't tried to see about getting it made a recognised religion. Some of the ideas my DP has are bizarre! He also thinks the Matrix is probably true a lot of the time and will spend hours explaining why

Saying that I am pleased he doesn't go as far as one of his passengers, this guy, now word of a lie walks around in full Jedi clothes and carries what he believes is a light sabre!
One day I might be more organised...........

Anyway after gossiping the night away and getting to know my fellow OS'ers a little more, I am heading to my bed. DLB as an OS'er you will always be okay in my book whatever you do with your life. I have total admiration for you and your DH for having the courage to do what was right for you and stuff what anyone else thinks.

Crazychik is lucky to have you as a neighbour and friend.
