Evening all
A rather lazy day hereWatched the rugby and F1, then a film with flatmate. Also made lunch for tomorrow and prepped stirfry for tea tonight. But I did book all my acommodation for my holiday
I'm away for a month and I'm only spending £400 on hotels/hostels :j. Staying in hotel in HK, hostels in Oz, with friend in NZ (but have 2 nights at hotel for the wedding), and hostel in Singapore. Booked via Quidco so have £5.40 in cashback tracking
.
I need to sort out the return of my deposit from my old flat tomorrow. It should have been returned by now  I've rung Letting Agent and left message, and emailed but have heard nothing yet. I can get a form filled in to force the return but it needs to be witnessed by a solicitor which will cost around £10 and I don't see why I should do this!
Been watching the sea from my sofait was high tide and it's very windy so the waves are crashing over the walls
love it!
Have a good evening all

Evening all!
Just home from a hectic 12 hour shift, full moon I fear as the patients were all racing about. It persisted with rain all day, and the wind is getting up now, pitch black in garden and OH snoring like a snory thing, so not sure if he has put everything away or not, generally it needs to be seriously bad for the wind to move anything out there thanks to the fence and angle of the garden, so fingers crossed as I CBA going out to look! Am having a browse then off to bed, back to work tomorrow and still feel like crud with a low grade temperature and grotty cough.
Stay safe in the wind!RIP Iain

Lou, my DS went through the same... with things being a bit upsetting they go into a world they can control. Best thing is to take it away and be very strict, don't give in and make him earn his things back slowely for good behaviour.
My DS is 9 and I still have to do it from time to time x
Just be strong, and make him see your in charge. Takes a few days, but they always come round to your way of thinking. It's just hard as an adult to deal with the fallout at first, because we love them and hate to see them unhappy.
As for the weeing issue, sometimes getting a nappy out and telling them its wee in the loo or go in nappies works... BUT sometimes they call your bluff and wear the nappy!

Hello All, I'm a relative newbie to the OS forum and stumbled across this thread. I find there is sooooo much happening on this part of the forum I only seem to find time to read through the headings that relate to what I'm thinking about. Although I dont want to appear as if I have just overheard someone else's conversation and cant stop myself jumping in Loulou your dilemma struck a cord with me.Loulou2010 wrote: »afternoon everyone
still no os happening here but wanted to pick your brains about something... ds sits on the toilet to wee/poo. every time he wees the bathroom gets a little shower and his pants/trousers/floor get wet (much to ds' horror ) he is now tall enough to stand at the toilet with his step but he just wont do it... i tried the pingpong ball but he just told me that it was naughty and dirty:rotfl: have tried getting him to push his bits down but he wont in case his hands get wet
:rotfl: someone help please :rotfl::D he watches hubby in the loo butwont copy him...
hope everyone is ok
A suggestion might be the "sinking paper" approach. Where you place a sheet of toilet paper (I know not V OS) in the toilet bowl and get him to direct his pee onto the paper to sink it into the water. It might be something your DH might try along with him, it not only gets boys standing at the loo but improves their aim :rotfl:Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Aug Grocery spends = £219.21
Sept - Grocery spends = £ 32.530 -

If it's been more than 14 (i think!) days the agents/LL can't really withhold any deposit from you. Is the deposit protected? Put everything in writing and keep a copy so if it goes to the complaints people you've got evidence on your side.
When i'm not so tired i can be of more help to you, if you need it!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500
