Going to Travelodge tonight 2 rooms for £52 for saver rooms, then tomorrow off to Girona Barcelona as a party of 6. Decided to book 2nd flight home for Sunday (as well as tomorrow's return) so overnight stay at 4* Torre Catalunya £134 for 2 rooms with breakfast, Hope this trip is as fab as 2 weeks ago to Alghero Sardinia, Outbound/return flight was £8.52 card charge was £8.40 for switch. The single flight home was 75Eur (with card charge) so about £50 so stilll a bargain. A 2nd great weekend to look forward to, Thanks OP & Ryanair0

Forgot to mention our return trip for family of 5 to Sardinia was cheaper than a return trip to my local town 3 miles away by bus.0

hello,
I can't find a way of adding a baggage allowance on the flight online. Looks like we will have to pay at the airport unless anyone knows any different
Thanks0 -
ANYONE!! Did you have to pay the extra £10 charge at the airport?????
Thanks0 -
Hi
A couple of my friends travelled for 2p each this morning from Newcastle to Dublin and didn't have to pay any additional taxes.

Managed to get some of those in Wilkos today, just the right size, so thanks very much0 -
Flew to Pisa on Thurs 1st and got back today. Absolutely no problem (having paid just 2p inc taxes after reading the tip in this thread!) - no extra tax to pay. Check in staff at Pisa remarkably casual about how much carry on luggage we were allowed!0

Be aware if you hire a car that on certain days(mainly Sundays!) you cant drive it between 8am and 8pm this was dropped on us as we where leaving for Bergamo on sunday morning!
We took a chance BUT got stopped by the police! luckily he didn't speak english and walked away muttering to himself!
This was the same in bergamo old town something to do with reducing the smog!
Thank you to the OP!

Hi,
Just got back from Dublin.....
.....
re carrying carseats. The chap at EMA wanted us to pay £7 for a booster seat so we took it on as hand baggage...a pain but at least it was free---they are certainly a bit stricter UK side on amounts of bags
No extra taxes to pay
You now have to buy your clear bags..they are 50p for 2 ( they used to be free)
Coming back...I told a little white lieTold the nice checkin girl that at EMA they put the booster in the hold, but we would happily take it on as hand baggage if she couldn't do that...."No NO...we'd rather put it in the hold than have it in the plane", she replied! My husband rolled his eyes...I'd been at it again!
Have a great time anyone else still to have they trips
