  • Is it essential to put my toiletries in a bag, as I won't be carrying them in hand luggage. Everything's going in the one suitcase I've paid to take with us.

No, as far as I know it's ok to put stuff in your checked-in luggage and you're not limited on size of product, it's just the stuff you take through security in hand luggage that has the restrictions. We're flying with hand luggage only so have to follow these new security measures.

    Right, off to Frankfurt now!

Many thanks for pointing out this offer, and I shall leave a review next week when I am back!
  • Hi,
We are flying to Dublin with Ryanair from EMa on saturday.
Reading through the t's and c's it sates that you get charged for baby carseats. Does anyone know if they enforce this or might we be able to get through free?
We've got 2 and I'm not sure if it'll be cheaper to hire at the other side
    Thanks

Hello, Thanks everyone for your advise throughout this thread

I will also be flying from EMA to Dublin on Saturday, looks like there are a few of us!
  • Hi

I haven't answered my own question about whether they mihgt let them through cheap. I don't think I'm going to risk it and am going pay now as it's half the cost of paying at the airport.

    THE FIGURES

cost of hiring 2 carseats for 3 days in dublin....23.80 GBP
carseats goes as baggage allowance.prebook... 3.50 GBP one way
............................................at check in......7.00 GBP one way
you may take upto 5 pieces of luggage as long as they weigh under 15kgs

If anyone knows any different, please let us know.....

  • I wouldn't take any risks so book it now ;)

    Enjoy your trip :)

I have two flights booked for Pisa on Saturday and just wanted to check if anyone travelling since the new tax came into force today (Thursday) has had any problems. I'm hoping there won't be (as the offer was supposed to include all taxes) but of course that was before Ryanair knew about this new tax and i wondered if they had found a loophole to charge us for it!
    Any info gratefully received
