I thought my trip for 2 people for 2,48 was pretty good! I even nearly started to like Ryannair and it was all very easy and no problems at all.

Got one more for this weekend so fingers crossed.

If anyone is flying to Gerona for a short period and doesn't want to trek to barcelona -tarragona is just up the road and is very nice , even sunny in jan sometimes and good food.-In january we had a very cheap hotel.

oOPS YES MEANT REUS ON THAT ONE!Sorry but having taken a lot of use of this brill offer as I actually had booked full price flights in the offer period I'm getting confused.

Gerona I flew to in Nov -went to a very nice place every quiet lovely hotel on top near a lighthouse but can't remember what it is called -is it llfranc. I think so .

Flew back on the 1p flight today and got confused tried tocheck in 7 mins after check in closed -Ryanair -Beuavais were brill (not often you hear that bout Ryanair) sorted it asap and checked us in no problem -told us not to worry and not rush!!
I am really getting to like Ryannair now-I think I've ben flying with them 7 years so it's taken a while!!

Another one next weekend better check in on time on this one-don't want to risk it again.-it's the full price lots of tax one so can't lose the £30 each we have paid-gosh thats a lot more than 2p.

did my 2p day trip to lubeck yesterday, excellend value. just a note of caution (dunno if anyone else has noted this) ryanair are blocking off first 6 rows on the plane and overwing exit deats claiming that they are needed to be clear for safe take off and landing.

so anyone thinking of booking prioroty boarding take heed that you will probably get the same seats as everyone else.

They've been blocking off certain rows on non-full flights for quite some time.

I'm not sure what the real reason is, possibly so the cabin crew haven't got to clean as many rows in the 8 minutes they have in the turnaround. Or maybe it improves fuel economy if people are only sitting in a certain part of the plane.

Priority boarding doesn't mean you get special seats, just that you'll get on before other people so have more chance of sitting with your friends/family.

Nope. I flew to La Rochelle with the kids on Sat- but my OH couldnt make it due to work- so I just told the guy at the airport and he checked in 4 of us instead of 5.
Both flights were on time- and not even nearly full and we had no pronlems- apart from finding out the bus to airport from town centre doesnt run on Sundays- and there is no cash machine at La Rochelle airport

  • Hi, my partner and son and I are going to ireland on the 3rd of Feb and wondered if anyone had any good ideas where we could visit and also good places to eat?

We aren't bothered about the Guiness thing as we don't drink but seeing as we don't arrive in Ireland until 2.30pm, we will have to get our skates on if we want to make the most of whats left of the day!

Are you after traditional irish food? You can find most pubs in dublin serve food.

Gallaghers in temple bar, not as cheap as smaller irish pubs though.

I had a dinner in O'Neils on Suffolk street but also eat near our hotel near rathmines and had a really nice meal.
  • I wonder if anyone can help me out here please?

I'm really struggling to find suitable re-sealable plastic bags to put our toiletries and cosmetics in for the flight. We're only taking hand luggage so need to make sure we strictly follow the new guidelines set.

Getting hold of the actual toiletries was a breeze as Superdrug do a fantastic range of miniatures for just about anything you might need, so just need to find bags to put it all in now!

Are they really strict about it being exactly 8" x 8" and what have other people used and where did you get them please?
