They have been doing this for years! The 1p flights you mention are subject to taxes and charges which will add at least £25 - £50 for a return flight. The offer in this thread, for 1p a flight, included these charges...

Although I don't believe we'll have any problems using these flights, it would be nice for one of the day travellers to get back to us!

Just arrived in dublin on a free flight. No problems at Luton at all.

Fingers crossed for the return tonight !

Everybody seemed to get out of Prestwick ok yesterday. The only thing that annoyed Ryanair was the amount of no shows. Many people must have booked free flights then not bothered going.

So are you saying you took a flight yesterday?

As regards no shows, it is always the same, if something is free (or almost) then people don't value it. If the flights had cost £50 they would have turned up "to get their moneys worth".

Secondley, Ryanair will have been !!!!ed off, as that would have given them less opportunity to recoup some money through beverages and scratchcards.

Ryanair have taken payment so off now to confirm booking on B&B and arrange car hire. Looks like we're definitely going then :j

has anyone else struggled to find available flights for free after using the free flight link on this forum? I keep on clicking next day when searching for flights, and I've been through the whole discount period, from edinburgh to destination starting in alphabetical order, and I've found not one single flight yet. I know the flights exist, because I just tried booking normally on the main page, without logging in for the free flights using the mse link on post 130. They exist for the 1p then taxes, but appear to not be available when I try this free loophole.

Can anyone help?
