A Must Read - Ryanair Flights
Comments

I have a friend that works with Ryanair customer services at Prestwick Airport.
When I spoke to her she advised me that the staff are all aware of this loophole. However they had not been give any instruction from management in what to do. Looks like it could be a publicity stunt after all.
I will update you if I hear anything more today0 -

passenger hand baggage containing any liquids, gels, pastes, lotions or liquid cosmetics MUST be presented at the airport passenger security point in a transparent re-sealable bag
Off to Dublin at 06.30 tomorrow for the day0 -

It's 100ml or less, i.e. travel sized products (I phoned to double check) but you are allowed to buy stuff from departure side and take that on board with you.0 -
if its 100 ml it must have not long changed cos i had a bottle of lynx 500ml, tried to tell them that it was half empty so it met the regulations, but they didnt buy that excuse0

We flew with our 2 children over Christmas and it does seem that people travelling with young children are no longer classed as a priority. They call passengers with priority bookings first and then the free for all starts! To be fair most passengers told us to go forward as we had children. One thing we were told when travelling with Ryanair was that we had to sit with our children as we were responsibe for them in event of an emergency (help with oxygen masks etc)- so for safety reasons they cannot split a parent and child. We have flown a fair few times and have always sat together - if we have any problems this coming weekend I really wont complain - you can't have everything for £5.68!!!
On the subject of hand luggage - they were very strict about liquids etc - but I didn't see anyone check the size or weight of hand luggage. Some people had large suitcases - and all overhead lockers were really full. No point paying for a suitcase for a weekend. I was asked to put my handbag inside my larger bag when it all went throught the x ray machines but there was no problem carrying them on the plane etc seperately!0 -
