Back on topic - definetley agree with the frisking!! I am sure they picked on me as I was wearing a skirt - not funny!!! (another hint - wear trousers!) I also had my hand baggage searched completely (everything sent through the xrayers in individual little trays - very embarassing!!!) and all laptops were being swabbed. This was at Stansted just before Christmas - we are flying from Birmingham on Saturday so maybe it will be ok!

As someone has already said, you can purchase whatever you like airside at Boots etc. to take on board.

I booked on friday..got the email confirmation saturday and today they have taken payment so I presume I'ts all ok and we will be flying at the end of the week!

They are also advertising 1p flights on their main website.

I assume as an earlier poster suggested, that this is a publicity stunt by the owner to make a point to the environment minister.
