well i got a card from Yodel today
I'm assuming its a boxset from HMV
so very good speed given I ordered yesterday (despatched at 14.47 after ordering at 14.05!)
however my card has no parcel reference number
it also has yesterdays date :rotfl:
so I can't use the automated redelivery service
looks like its a trek from one side of the city to the other tomorrow
I had a shoulder op and can't drive/use the bike. so its the bus for me
  • As per our telephone conversation on Monday afternoon, I am writing to formally complain about the rude and improper manner of one of the couriers that visited my home on two occasions. On his first visit on Friday 27th January he knocked on my door which was answered by my girlfriend he never introduced himself and just stated that ‘I delivered here on Friday and it was signed for in a condescending tone.My girlfriend explained that she was not here that day but was however aware of the situation he just started ranting that the parcel had been delivered and signed for then he noticed my old exhaust from my old motorbike and said I see you’ve replaced the exhaust then to which my girlfriend replied yes with the one we brought on the day we took the original defective one back to euro car parts he replied well I hope you have receipts for it my girlfriend replied we had too which he just walked off muttering under his breath I reported this to you on the day it happened when trying to uncover what had happened to this missing exhaust I was also informed that he was supposed to be picking up the missing exhaust however the courier never even mentioned this fact I was told on the phone that this was going to be investigated with the couriers and that someone was going to be getting back to me no-one did and next thing I know I get a phone call on Monday 30th January from my girlfriend who was extremely shook up to say that the same courier as Friday had just been round again and was even more rude and abrupt with her he stated that he was there to pick up a collection my partner then said there was no collection there because as he already knew it was missing and as far as she knew it was still being investigated he then referred to my old motorbike exhaust and said I see its still there then my partner replied yes that’s because it’s a 30 year old motorbike exhaust and the missing one is for a bmw he then said in a threatening tone well I hope you have a receipt for that cos the police will want to see it cos this is going to be investigated by them to which my partner replied yes we did have two of them in fact and then she told him she did not like his attitude and asked for his name to which he replied that he did not give a toss what she thought as he was self employed he said again that the police would investigate to which my partner replied that’s fine we have nothing to hide and closed the door she was even more upset by the fact that the whole time she had our four month old son in her arms whilst this disgusting man verbally abused her. When I arrived home from work my girlfriend had put on the deadlock and chain to our door as she that shaken up by his attitude and behaviour that she did not feel safe in her own home if euro car parts or any other company send this man to our door again then the police will be called straight away we also require to know the nme of this man for future reference.
I trust this matter will be dealt with accordingly I also trust that the original problem of what has happened to this exhaust will also be swiftly dealt with as it has been going on for a month since I took the old defective exhaust back for a refund however I was informed that it had to be sent back to the manufacturer of which I was not informed about when I initially inquired about the defective exhaust warranty whilst in the shop I was told to fill out a warranty form which I did and then was informed it could take up to two weeks to get an answer so I brought a second exhaust with the understanding that if the faulty exhaust was found to be defective then I would get a refund straight away after several phone calls the manufacturer agreed that the exhaust was defective and was entitled to a replacement however as I had already brought one this was unwanted so I asked for a refund instead to which I was told that apparently the warranty form sent with the defective exhaust stated that I wanted a replacement having already purchased another exhaust this was obviously not the case now so I was told that they needed to sort this out next thing I know an exhaust had been delivered by the rude courier on Friday 20th January which I only found out about when I rung up on Saturday 21st Jan to see what was happening with my refund since then nothing seems to be happening with this matter I would appreciate closure on this matter as in my opinion this has been going on for far too long now …..

Well I have had an Amazon parcel go to Colchester, went out for delivery yesterday morning but subject to delays according to tracking, with the weather, fair enough.

One Book People parcel went to Ipswich and has been sat there since 9am yesterday, no sign of it going out yet.

It seems for some reason small items are being sent to Ipswich (also a Tesco Direct mobile order) and larger items are going to Colchester. All Amazon have now started going to Colchester, they have all been large so that could explain it.

Well if you've sent them the same block of text in an email without any punctuation whatsoever, I'd expect them not to read it. It's impossible!

Well Colcheter parcel is out for delivery, Ipswich still sitting at depot.

Bit of a nightmare for me as I am desperate for a few days where I can sleep knowing there will be no postman/courier knocking at the door. My several weekly Hospital appointments resume shortly (after just a weeks break) and shattered is not the word for how I am feeling right now, looks as though I won't get that rest this week!

I told Mum I needed a break from parcels, but she must have forgotten as she ordered books and catalogue clothes (coming Friday via Hermes). I too then had to order something (needed and couldn't get in shops Friday they no longer sell, not even the cheaper version now!) but got to call a halt to it now, it is incredibly difficult for me to get up and stay up for parcels just for one day and now this is the second day in a row i've had to and looks like there will be a third/fourth if the Ipswich parcel finally comes out! She can get things delivered to her work and I am simply desperate for that rest. My eyes are shutting as I type it's that bad. Nothing I can do about the parcels that have been ordered but no more. So wish the Ipswich parcel would come today but it's not even out for delivery yet :(

All those who like to slag off Yodel - a delivery was scheduled for between 12.00 and 13.00 When the driver arrived @ 12.30 there was a note on the door asking him to wait, as the resident had to go and pick her car up.... Luckily he was due a meal break, so he decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and took his meal break outside her house. Result - one pleased customer, who probably won't tell anyone about how her Yodel driver went the 'extra mile', and no 'sorry we missed you' card.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
