further to my entries of 16.12.2012,i received cancellation confirmation emails refering to all 4 items later that day. i did tell them that i was aware of the advertising standards authority ruling and that i had taken advice from my credit card issuer.
reading about those of us who have cancelled their credit card and opened up another one with the same issuer,i have been advised by my issuer that if this outfit requested payment the card issuer would pay it and put it on the new card. then when you query that they can then set the wheels in motion to claim your money back.
the daily telegraph have been in touch and requested further details. they say that they can use their web address via google ads,but thats a bit over my head.
saw two consecutive adds on ebay this evening. "48 year old mum looks 29" www.telegraph.co.uk" and "43 year old mum looks 25" daily mail.co.uk"
both these ads appear when i search "salad storer!"0 -
They took over £400 from my HSBC account. I don't check it regularly because I barely use it.
There were no T's & C's that I could find and the price was not evident at all.
HSBC refunded me all the money straight away and I cancelled my DD card.
Hiowever, I have received a letter today from HSBC saying I signed up for this so they are going to give them the money again!
I also did not receive any products.
I live in France and the link I inadvertently used was on the Daily Mail site, but it was in French!0 -

That will be these two ads (screenshot): http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/7392/scamadsonebay.jpg
The first one (display url telegraph.co.uk) goes to

If you go to the home page [healthytipsdaily.com] there is a link to the privacy policy which gives the email address of justenjoy69@gmail.com
A search on that shows it is linked to someone with an address in Latvia:

Hi All,
My mum called me this morning very upset as she has been caught up in this. I gave her the numbers suggested in earlier posts but she said they have been disconnected. She has also tried emailing them.
Does anyone have another number she could try? I noticed that someone mentioned they managed to get someone on the 'Live chat' but I couldn't find this option unless they have removed this due to all the complaints! She has contacted her credit card company (Tesco) who are sending out forms to her.£2012 in 2012 - £85

Cant believe i have been so stupid! Bought 1 x trial sample from each company for approx £5.00. Have just returned from holiday and my CC has been debited for £79.99 £51.00 & £74.95 for products i have NOT HAD and DO NOT want! Have just rang my CCard company who say i will have to pay for these items as i have unwittingly entered into a subscription - but they will dispute any further payments as from todays date.
Does anyone have contact details for these companies to CANCEL?
I have gone on their websites - contact us - and asked for a refund and cancel - but dont hold out much hope!
I have also filed a complaint to the FTC - the USA equivalent to Trading standards.
Any advice???0 -
Have just rang 0808 168 3685 - to cancel future products( perfect radiance & revitaderm) - they said will cancel from today - and send email - but as i didnt cancel within the 16 day period - cannot get refund on 3 products which they say have been dispatched.
Going to ring my bank again to dispute these - as fraud.
NEVER AGAIN!!!0 -

Another update from me! Today I received the trial offer even though I phoned to cancel the order on the Sunday. I only ordered on the Saturday night, so they couldn't possibly have post it off, which means my cancellation for that was completely ignored. I knew I wouldn't get the initial payment back, but I did emphasise that I didn't even want to receive the trial product. I've got the package ready to post back after xmas, and will do it by special delivery to make sure they get it! I enclosed a letter and copies of the emails with confirmation of my cancellation. I will not be able to relax about this until a period of time has gone by with no more amounts taken from my credit card and no more parcels received!0
