Following on from the FP thread, the Halifax website has a notice advising that the current bank account range is no longer available, and a new account range is available from the 12th September. Any insiders able to give any insight on what's going to be on offer?

All savings are going/changing. BOS are loosing reward/urca in favour of lloyds-style AVAs. HFX are keeping current accounts as they are.
No accounts that are already open will be changed over, though.100% G33K:D:D:D:D

Will they use Lloyds or HBOS score criteria and systems for internal scoring and stuff?
Anyone know?0 -
The halifax accounts are changing too so the website suggests...
Savagej told us about this ages ago.... However everyone gave him/her a hard time saying it was a load of cobblers.
I think alot of posters may owe Savagej an apology because they was clearly correct. ;-)Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
All I'd suggest is that Bank of Scotland customers wanting to open an URCA or Reward account should do it in branch on Friday - unless it's already too late!0
