I am going through 2 levels of flabbergastedness that something as minor and petty as not applying a handbrake should get people so hot and bothered.
I have just returned from a touring holiday in the USA where noone ever, ever, ever uses a handbrake (or parking brake) when they roll to a halt & the world carried on spinning around its axis in a ticketyboo manner as before.
Ah well
upwards and onwards

p.s WIG thanks for your kind thoughts. I have rechecked my car manual and my car come with 21w brake light bulbs as standard (so we we were both wrong, me by more than you), however as i have now disconnected mine to stop little cherubs from being dazzled (although its never happened to me in 20 years !) i can now drive around our beautiful country with a clear consciense.
The funny thing is that on my way into work this morning someone drove into the back of my car, thankfully my car is undamaged but the other chap has done about £500 damage to his car. He was ranting and raving about me having no brake lights - "Look on the bright side" i said to him " at least you weren't 'dazzled' as you drove into me"0 -
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Ok you're right 21W, guess that explains why they're so damned annoying at traffic lights then!0
