Firstly, let me state that i'm in no way a perfect driver. ( nearly but not quite
)
Dunno if its just me, but i've noticed in the past few months a huge increase in the number of people who either don't bother to indicate, or use it as an afterthought, as if its part of the manouvre itself.
Now i don't tailgate, but if a person in front indicated in due time, it would mean i could ease off the gas, allow the distance to increase, thus allowing more room & keeping a safe distance before he begins to slow for a turn.
I've noticed many drivers don't even bother, leaving you wondering why they've suddenly started braking as you approach the back of them.
Number 2 are those who find it necessary to put their rear fogs lights if...
A) there is particularly heavy rain
it was abit misty last week
C) The bathroom mirror was steamed up when they stepped out of the shower this morning.
If i had my way.... etc etc etc.

Middle lane road hoggers I F($*)($&% hate it. Makes me really really angry and it makes me break the law and undercut to prove a point. I ain't no perfect driver, but i do know that (1) the rule of the road is keep to the left and (2) there is no such thing as a "fast lane" or a "slow lane" on the motorway!"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0

Not indicating drives me beserk. Especially on roundabouts. Is it just that they are soooo lazy that they can't manage to lift their arm? The other one is not making allowances for people entering the motorway.
On another kind of driving - people with shopping trolleys. Do they have to park them across the aisle so noone can get past them? It's just so rude and inconsiderate. And why is it that as soon as you stop to look at something suddenly it seems that a crowd of people have got the same idea and have to reach across you the minute you stop to get said item.0 -
Have to say that where i live (Nottinghamshire) indicators do not exist in fact i heard a rumour that my car is the only one fitted with them. Sorry a little exaggeration there, but it certainly seems that way at times especially on the three local roundabouts!!Only when the last tree has died,the last river has been poisoned,and the last fish has been caught,
will we realise that we cannot eat money.0 -
the ones who cut across both lanes on the roundabout almost forcing you off the road !!
the ones who drive at 22 mph for 15 miles until you try to overtake, then match you speed for speed until you hit 70mphEx forum ambassador

Bargainbabe, good move. I do it every time to make a point too. I also hate those on duel carriageways who sit in the right hand lane at 70 & think they have a right to stay there because they are at the limit. They don't seem to comprehend that its an overtaking lane & not a fast lane.0

- Mono-speed cars... ie. drivers that drive at 43mph regardless of the speed limit. You get stuck behind them along a country road (always when you're unable to overtake) then you get to a town and they continue at the same speed and zoom off into the distance only for you to catch up with them 5 minutes later once you've cleared the other side. Aaaaaargh!
- People who turn in other people's drives or park opposite them (particularly mine!). :mad:
- Drivers who think there is a seperate lane just for them where the speed limit is 95 and drive up your backside if you don't get out of the way fast enough (dunno why, but they often drive white vans?).
- Red-light and roundabout jumpers - this really is getting beyond a joke but I always honk at them.
- People who don't know the national speed limit for a dual carriageway.
If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...0 -
You should have said " No Dear, he's a f"£&^g &)sehole.....*
* = joke0 -
I live in Italy at the moment - I usually get all of the above before I get the the end of my road in the morning (it's a very small road)!!!Just had an email saying press release. Can someone tell me where the release key is?0

Maybe we should all get some of these http://www.roadrage.com/
I hate people just cruising in the middle lane when the "slow" lane's empty. So I have a technique (which I don't condone at all officer). Firstly I get out of the "fast" lane as it's slower than the middle lane and full of rage. Then I go into the middle lane, flash them with my lights and make frantic "move over" signals with a spare hand. Then if they still don't get the message I (guiltily cringing) undertake them whilst blaring my horn and shouting obscenities.
Sometimes I just haven't got time to be blocked in by a pillock doing 50mph in the middle lane and every other car in the country sat in the slower than the rest "fast lane".
And if anyone disagrees with me, I live near the M1 and M25 come and see for yourself!
GrrrrrrrMy mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0 -
aaaaalways undertake...it's illegal, but i do it, and quite right too.
and yes, indication on roundabouts. I drive a car, but i also commute on a motorbike, and non indication for us bikers is potentially life threatening!
also, when commuting, cars that overtake on dual/triple carriageway by literally swerving round me and not actually changing lane....funnily enough, these people always seem to lose their drivers wing mirror when they have to slow down for traffic or the next set of lights.....Talon "Ace" Karrde
the more i see, the more i know, the more i know, the less i understand0
