Hi I telephoned to have our online account chnaged over from Standard to Saver 2 - the lady at Scottishpower stated that it should have been for new customers but they were honouring existing customers and that I should see the wording change on our online account with a couple of days - two weeks later and it was still showing 'standard', so I recontacted them and spoke to a man who stated they were having problems having the accounts changed over and he was sorry that it hadnt been done, as an apology he has backdated the discount to start from 13th December 2006 which was when it was launched.
Checked my online account and now showing as online engery saver!

I am on online energy saver 2 I was put on it when we moved back in Feb 07. I wondered whether its worth switching
  • I am with scottish power, the online energy saver 3 tariff.
I just rang them up and asked them if i would be better off with that package rather than the energy saver 2. The cs rep worked it out there and then, told me by how much and switched me over.
I think they'd rather keep you as a customer so they are happy to help.
