Just popped on to say Happy Birthday Kathy:bdaycake:

Hugs where needed - sorry bad day at work and the names that I had in my mind have now escaped me.

Too tired to make a proper meal tonight so just had home grown tomatoes on toast (was actually delicious!) Wm has been on but clothes will have to dry inside as the weather has been horrible, wet and windy!

Day off tomorrow and the car is going for its MOT, so fingers crossed please, already had to replace the windscreen and a tyre this week, so hopefully it wont need too much doing to it.

Ok have to leave it there for tonight as too tired to think straight lol

    Have good evenings all

My thanks flutterbyuk, I will remember that , he went to an open day earlier in the year and fell in love with the area, I am sure we will both have questions about the area as time goes on , but a quick one that I have is are there any nice (and cheap) places to stay for a couple of nights ? as would like to visit him but know there is no way I would be able to manage there and back in one day, my body just wont allow it:o

  • blondy - good news!

Just had a call back from BT, it was the person who was meant call me yday apologising saying that he had been off work sick. He claims they have sorted the error and I do not owe them any money , and they actually owe me £45! He will send me email to confirm. I'm a little dubious cos why couldn't I have been told this earlier?! But once I get the email I'll be happy :).

I had fishcake for tea, but I'm really struggling to eat fish :( not liking the texture. Any more suggestions of the best way to disguise it?

It is fab here :) I'd offer you a place to stay here, but my spare room isn't that big! There is both a travelodge and premier inn in the city centre which is about 5-10min drive from the uni (but 20-30 from the student village). There are lots of guesthouses/b&b's but I would avoid the ones on the Swansea seafront as they tend to be full of stag/hen do's or people who have got lucky on a night out!! :rotfl:. If I think of any others I'll let you know
