Betheebee (((HUGS))) and calm vibes; listen to NPM, she has hands-on experience of hossy protocols - I didn't know about the time restraints for certain symptoms, I have to admit.
NPM awww, poor little Fatcat. I hope the vet can help her.
Mioliere Hoppy Birdday.
Umm.... I've forgotten everything else I've read - hossy yesterday was pretty much a waste of my time and energy; they've basically said they can't help me, there's nothing they can do to make me feel any better, and to just go away and cope with it.:( Oh, and they've stopped my Plaquenil, as they said, feeling like total carp 24/7 notwithstanding, my blood tests were OK.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
NPM - Hope FC is ok xx
LW - Hugs to you....thats awful for you xxYou know your getting old when yougo to the pub sit outsideand admire the hanging basket

Morning everyone,
The children are back in our school today after us spending 2 days in meetings- it is lovely to see them all again and hear about their holidays. My tutor group are year 11 so it is a very important year for them and they all seem to have come back with the right attitude.:D
DD2 loved her first day at secondary school yesterday. She came back tired but full of how good it had been.
Happy birthday Mioliere
Hugs to all that need them.
Healing wishes for Fat Cat NPM
Tea tonight is pasta with HM mozzarella and tomato sauce.
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Afternoon all.
Happy birthday Moiliere
Fingers crossed for Fatcat NPM they are such a worry at times even though people say they're "only" pets. I will be bereft when my old boy finally goes.
I have spent the morning putting up my new toy (a rotaire dryline - which I heard about on here from Hester - thank you). Actually putting it on didn't take long at all but straightening the old airer out first was a bit of geometry puzzle - it was so out of square. I am now the only person in the UK who is waiting hopefully for it to rain (sorry)
Am going to spend the afternoon re-working my budget and then planning menus for the month. Since my husband walked out and left us in the lurch financially I'm having to adjust to a considerably lower level of income  but at least for the moment I still have a roof over my head and can put food on the table.
Hugs to all those who need them.0 -
Just wanted to come on here to tell you that had we both had test results back today and everything is fine, I was so excited and relieved :j It has been on my mind for the past three weeks so nice to hear test results are negative and no infections found.0

LW thats a terrible attitude for them to take. do you feel the Plaquenil was of any benefit to you..if you do then they shouldnt be allowed to just take you off it like that unless it was causing retinal toxicity. Have they tried any alternatives like Mepacrine, Azothiaprine or Methotrexate? I am only guessing at what you are taking it for tho and may be barking up the wrong tree entirely:rotfl: I just dont like to see someone dumped and told we cant do anything for you...it isnt them living with the difficulties.
Thanks for all the good wishes for Fatcat....will see how she goes on later0 -
Hi everyone
:bdaycake: Kathy
Sorry running the rally is taking much of my time. Weather wet and windy, but we have a hall for the evening get togethers. Last night was an American Supper (everyone brings a plate of something) and we provided the desserts (no OS ones, but did shop at Lidl;)) followed by a quiz. It went down well and was a good atmosphere. Not too big a rally only 19 'vans, but enough:o
Tonight we are going to the local pub for a meal as a group.
Had a PM from Smokybabe she is OK, but has had a bit of a rough time, and could not face posting, but feels like she has been ungrateful for our unkindness. She is slowing getting things together, and the kids are growing rapid, and they now have a dog, a cross between shitsoo (sp) and a springer spaniel. She says she misses posting on the daily and sends her regards to anyone who remembers her, and thanks us for her birthday wishes. I CERTAINLY MISS HER POSTS AND WISH SHE WOULD START POSTING AGAIN, whether or not she is having a good time or not. Please rejoin us Smoky
Lou Still thinking of you, sorry, no magic wand to offer you.
Beth Keep us posted, you are only human to panic, I am sure I would too, but hopefully it is a "just in case" call.
(((hugs)) to all those where the world is not 100%.
Take care all - DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club

Quick post - will bob in later to read properly but just wanted to say "hello" and send love and hugs to all those who need them and Happy Birthday to Moiliere. Used u-switch today and will hopefully save £150 per year in bills...dual fuel and went through the link for the case of wine - yum! Made some HM soup earlier but managed to smash a bottle of vinegar in the process but on the plus side it means all the tea towels that needed washing that I used to mop it up with be uber clean (in washer now) and it will do the washer good as well..... annoyed though..... Much better mood than yesterday even if I didn't sleep well and even dusted the spare bedroom.....had to take antihistamine though..(had been asking OH to do it but....well.....). Hoping to clean the birdies out later - having a ewbank is fab as the back room looks a lot better as does the hall.....back to my typing now. Might have to do a small top up shop later.....But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green
