    Happy birthday Moliere.

Well I'm hoping the rain stays away long enough for me to dry some washing. Yesterday was horrible here.

We had our loft re insulated on Monday -threw away loads but a few things need to go back up. Came across old moses basket that both our two slept in from birth and their Dad too when he was a baby. Awww. Still keeping it.

My sister said she had her loft done too and as a result they used 1/3 less oil. We have gas central heating but savings look good to me.

Bacon pasta bake for tea. I made sun dried tomato rolls (from a Sains packet) yesterday and they have all gone-into packups and just "because".

Mmm don't like this wintry weather-nearly put the fire on but resisted. Anyone know where I can get a small rug to put in front of the coal effect gas fire as the coals are loosely stacked ......?

OH well off to consult flylady list.

Hugs and best wishes to poorlies and worrieds.

    Have a good day all.

    Morning my lovelies :D

quick one today as I am off out in a mo. Heading to a friend, she's providing the coffee I've got the cake :D

didn't get chance to make cornish pasties yesterday so have got to do them today without fail.
Not sure what's for tea. Need to do some housework and general pottering.
DS loved his first day back at school :T No meltdowns and he still seemed keen this morning. Long may it continue. DD is DESPERATE to go to school. She keeps asking if she's going to school today to see her friends. Poor little sausage has got to wait another week and a half!!!

Beemuzed - hugs for you xxx any family or friends who could help out with DS in an emergency, just to give you piece of mind??

moiliere - Happy Birthday :D Have a great day

Hugs and spoons for all those that need them. Gotta dash.
Have a great day OS or not.

just got back from dropping DS at school to find that Fatcat has had diarrhoea over the kitchen floor:(
So another vets visit booked for later, I think it is the renal problem as she spent all day with her head in her water bowl yesterday and weeing. She was walking strangely last night as if something was wrong with her back end....am wondering if she is constipated and having overflow diarrhoea. I think her electrolytes are all out of balance etc
I hope it isnt all moving on that quickly and that they can sort her out a bit.
I really worry how DH will be if we had to ever have her put to sleep or if she just gives up herself:(. She is his cat and he has had her since she was a kitten and they adore each other....I think she was his baby before he met me and Noah...he will go to pieces if anything happens to her.
She has gone from being a cat with nothing ever wrong to a cat in and out of the vets in the last 6 weeks.
Sorry for moaning but I cant really say much to DH about worrying about her as I try to be strong for him and not let on about how ill she prob is:(
  • Morning all and happy birthday to Moiliere,my brother is always saying how the French will drown in a sea off paper one day he has lived there for 8 years but loves it and will never move back to England.
All's well at the moment I just have a bit of ironing to do then I must whip around to Dds to let the mutts out for a wee and hang the washing out which I put on before I took the boys to school this morning, and put another one on for her.I picked up a nice packet of large white chocolate chip cookies for the kids yesterday in Sainsbobs they are on offer at 50p for 5 which I think is great as it would cost more than that to make themThe boys wolfed them down in 2 minutes flat but were very happy with them I may get another packet if I go near there this week again.Halfway through the week already I feel that this month is going to whizz by.Nice and sunny at the moment though which is lovely after yesterdays rotten rain Right I'm off for some coffee so have a good day everyone whatever you may be doing
    Cheers JackieO xxx

    Morning all,
Have the BM on and DH has emptied the DW. I haven't used it for nearly 3 wks prefering to save leccy and wash up by hand. DH loaded it last night coz I couldn't be @rsed, there was a lot of dishes, pans as I made a Duck in Hoi Sin Sauce, garlic prawns with noodles, egg fried rice and some spring rolls, there is enough for dinner tonight. I did have some and it was delish.
I bought a Groupon deal for a stay at The Castle Hotel in Taunton. Dinner B&B that's booked for Fri/Sat. It's a 4* so something to look forward too Was booked before I knew about the Hosp app. So plans today, catch up on things I didn't get done y/day vacuming and Bathroom to clean & ironing.

Thank all of you for your kind messages, they do mean a lot to me you're all :A
