The OP's had all the aswers, reasonable and some for dealing with unreasonable people.
If the other party doesn't get the message after parking accross your own drive or in "her" parking spot then I certainly would step up the action a little and some way make life uncomfortable for her.
I'ts sad but sometimes it's the only way to treat the "I lived here before you" attitude's
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Why?
The other party has done nothing wrong.:p0 -

Look the OP has made it very clear that the other party is parking, when she clearly has a choice of where to park, making it very difficult for her to negotiate her own drive.
Now in law that may not be "wrong", but some of us have morals and would go out of our way not to offend the neighbours by what now seems to be a deliberate action. It's not being done out of ignorance is it.?
If you bigjl can't see that then maybe you are part of the problem rather than the OP's solution??
This is not about right and wrong, it's about living alongside others without being a total pain in the,

So the neighbour is parking her car legally and she is in the wrong?
Remember that the op has no give right to park outside his home address.:D0 -
Can't you widen the gate access into your drive?
If you could, you wouldn't need as much "swing" to get your car in.0 -
TBH the neighbour is either stupid or just stuborn, leaving your car where you know it's causing an obstruction is just asking for a nice big scrape down the side of it.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Legally yes, morally no.The OP wants to park on their drive without damaging their own or others cars in the process, not park on the road.0 -
