I have 2 workmen currently on my back garden starting work on puting me my own fence up and they are building me a flower bed out of plinths and post to hide the mess from the witchs fence!!! Im so happy at last i got to talk to someone at the council who cares about what i think, i cant belive how quick he has sorted it, they say it will propably take them to mon of next week to finish it, and the witch will have to sort her side out herself!!!!!

Hello everyone
It's blowing a gale here and I have to go out in 20 minutes!
I've had to post something in techie - my computer has been hacked and an email set up in my name - so now I'm getting demands for payment to a website (yeah one of those...) I never joined. And I can't get rid of it because whoever set up the email account has the password!
Well other than that, I have reasons to rejoice - did my tax return last night and I'm owed well over £1000 as I paid too much tax!I won't rush to spend it though, because right now I don't need anything. So, in my savings it goes!
Have a great day everyoneBe careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Fantastic news DLB wish I could be there to see her face when she gets in.
Been to Tescos this morning, not a good idea spent a fortune but have got FIL birthday present and enough basics for the next couple of weeks. Also got a piece of Oxtail reduced so I'm going to make some soup inthe slow cooker tomorrow morning. DD has just gone down for her nap so I need to get on with making this house look presentable.
Got to go and get on.Sorting my life out one day at a time0 -

Hello fellow Oldstylers!
Not managed to catch up on all your doings but hope to later when I'm doing the evening shift "working" [well I shall be invigilating so what else can I do but come on here and be a sticky beak!!]
OS today has seen me putting out washing and hoovering through. OH is making mushroom and nut pilaff for tea tonight.
No major plans for today although do need to pick up a birthday present on the way home.
I'm helping out a jumble sale this weekend so am hoping [toes crossed] for a couple of bargains as it's happening in a very wealthy local village [last year I got a perfect Ralph Lauren shirt for 10p!!] and the evening we've got friends coming over to dinner...will be producing smoked salmon on pesto flavoured pancakes, paprika chicken [sc recipe] and meringues and summer fruits which are left over from Christmas. Yum yum!
Have a good Thursday
