The Christmas ones can often be a bit of a mixed bag as to whether they are OS or Celebrations to be honest :) If you see any of particular interest then maybe flag it to your delightful BG's to ask if they feel it's best suited for OS or Celebrations?

OS BGs feel free to send me packing back to my own boards ;)

BTW Squeaky intend on reading your indexing guide from start to finish tonight and if possible steal it now it's done :rotfl: I'll ensure all credits go to me and blame goes to you heehee (now where is that "blow a rasberry" smilie?)

Hiya, I think the reason that we were never asked to move older "Christmas threads" across when the new board was started was for this reason. Some posts were what could be regarded as pure OS, some could quite reasonably be posted on either or both boards, and others could reasonably be called "of more interest to the Christmas board".

But working through over ten thousand threads to find christmas ones and having to apply some form of "judgement call" as to "the best place" for each of them was something the powers that be must have decided was something they weren't prepared to get into :)

So we just moved new ones last year.

It'll be different for the gardening board - gardening is often an OS way of providing fresh fruit and veg for the table... but when all is said and done - gardening is gardening, so off it will go :)

And yes, tine, you can blame me... being a bloke I'm used to it :) And, being a bloke, I can never be sure that I've earned it or not - and anyway I'm probably overdue a telling off for something or other :p

Im sure i read somewhere with all this someone was doing a keeping chickens thread. Am I going mad?

I was just thinking it might be wise to put a link from the Pets section if someone was doing it, otherwise i can amalgamate it in that one!

    Anyone please!!!

Good idea. You'll find the chicken ones in the Food section of the MEGA Index.

I'm busy catching up after a few days away visiting with friends, but if you get stuck with copying them over just PM me and I'll move them for you once I've caught up.

    :)

    Hi,

I thought I'd pass on a tip I was given at the weekend.

If you are not sure which category something should go into, put it in all the relevant categories. This makes it a lot easier for people to find.
