  • Hope everyone is doing well, I overdid it on Friday - stayed up until silly o'clock trying to get the paid spasms to stop so I could lie down without kicking Dr Dragon every 10 seconds , then spent Saturday in pain downing pain killers :(

Have I missed the new thread post?

Greenbee and mumof5 hope you have a safe flight and enjoy your time away

Triker it's like most tragedies like that or even the death of a close friend or relative you remember where you were and how you found out. I know the day seemed to last forever watching the news hoping each awful event was the last and each live lost was the last. 10 years has gone so fast and lives are still being lost :(

Ok I'm going to try to do something more positive and actually move a bit more. I've done next to nothing all morning, DP gone out without so much as asking the boys if they wanted to so naff what he asked me to do, it's time to do the kitchen :)
One day I might be more organised...........

Was this the one you thought the builders broke or took with them? It's always great to find something you thought you'd never see again :j

Well. HHC done. Started clearing out the c**p in the house for the charity shop. Its all low value and would be more expensive to e-bay than the return in time and I'm seriously hacked off with freecycle - I've had 3 no shows. Lots of duplicate bits of kitchen equipment, videos galore, dog bed etc. Will clear out a load of space - then I have to do the bookcases. (shakes in fear:eek:)

I started on the cupboard food audit - I think the OOD 2007 open BBQ sauce, and the 2008 soya bean paste can go out. Found loads of things to use up - why I thought I needed a 500g pack of star anise I will never know:rotfl:

Hope everyone is having good sunday. (((hugs))) to all in need.

  • thats the one thing i loved about moving house cat was that everythign had a good clear out when we were packing up, and have had a good clear out when unpacking as well.

we donated alot of books to the local library as would rather it went to a good cause than to have time spent ebaying for little/no return. i havent used freecycle but have used gumtree before for getting rid of things and havent had any no shows from that, although its been a couple of years since i last used it.

I'm in the process of attempting to sort the BR floor out. Now I've had my dinner I'm feeling a bit stuffed and not really inclined to do anything.

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
