What a morning so far, OH away to a shoot so no car for me. WM decided it wouldn't empty so cue bucket and loads of water once i was able to get the filter out. Problem was that DD's school cardigan was stuck in the machine. It's been emptied now and the only things i found in the filter was a lolly pop stick and some wet fluff, i'm hoping thats what has caused it. I have it running on the hottest wash now and hopefully it will drain then i'll rewash DD's cardigan.....:mad:
Kids been to sunday school and now playing. Suppose i should go give the utility room...Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much.But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Good morning all, hope all are well.
I have been to church and so, missed the rugby....going to watch the second half on ITV+1 whilst ironing................see you in about 45.............xx0 -
Have packed and repacked so that everything fits in my suitcase... Problem is I think it will be over the weight limit for hand luggage
I'll have to hope that OH is under and that they let us weigh our stuff together. Otherwise it'll have to go in the hold which is a pain (and would have meant I could pack more
actually, if they make me put it in the hold I will repack at the airport to make things more accessible.
Spare room is nearly clear, as are landing and bathroom window sills. Bedroom curtains will need to come down in the morning and be packed away, bed stripped and covered with the spare room under blanket to sae it from the worst of the dust.
Clothes decluttering has been pretty ruthless (for the second time this year) and its clear that two people will not be able to keep all tier clothes in one chest of drawers, a single wardrobe, bedside table and tallboy. Especially not considering the number of suits etc. So I think the study and spare room revamp needs to include storage for work clothes. Or separate storage for OH's stuff if he ever moves enough stuff in to merit it...0 -
Oh well....lost by one point!!! apparantley get a bonus losing point though?!?!?! So there is still hope.
Lots of ironing done. Going to Mum's for dinner and then back here to get on with the rest!!
Have a good day all, catch you laters xx0 -

On a side note, had a quiet moments reflection on the events that happened 10 years ago today. I remember where I was and what I was doing and the horror and disbelief as the news unfolded.....DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Jojo she sounds incredibly like my daughter who, at a much younger age insisted I teach her how to cook the stuff she liked - in case I died...
:rotfl::rotfl:
Still chuckling at this. My daughter is similar in temperament :eek: You have never seen such disappointment on a girl's face when she found out I had no life insurance
But along with jojo's, I am glad there are determined young women out there who won't take any cr*p*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0
