  • i'm so upset about not getting a sun £5 off voucher :rotfl:

if the things you want aren't on bogof it's still a good deal if you have enough health and beauty coupons - with a sun voucher and ten H+B leaflets (for the ten 50-point coupons) you would get a £20 shop for only £5 and get 500 points so it's essentially free.

if you buy the bogofs you save an extra £10 though, so it really is free, with an extra £5 off whatever else you are buying and the 500 points too.

Hiya sally06  the only dumb question is the one that is not asked. Really you need to purchase £20 worth of toiletries on bogof meaning the total is only £10 to pay.

I did one transaction today: I bought another 8 packs of wipes at £2.56 each = £20.48 - then it is halved to £10.24 (because of bogof) then I used:

    1 x £5 sun voucher, 2 x £2.50 vouchers, 5 x £1 vouchers = £15.00 off my balance in vouchers so I had another £4.76 off my other store cupboard shopping. I also used 10 x 50 point vouchers and gained 500 points.

    Hope that helps Welshy x

Thanx for explaining how the offer works. I will give it a try tomorrow.

P.S I've been reading some of your posts on this forum and I think you are a genius! I hope I can follow in your footsteps and save myself some money.
  • Happy Shopping Sally06 :D and many thanks for the compliment :o

Just follow the advice on here and in no time at all you'll be making huge savings too

;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)
  • Being friendly with some of the staff of my local Tesco, a very attractive mangeress,
I approached the subject of these vouchers and other tricks mentioned on this forum.

They only take Sainsbury coupons at the store in question,
as they are the only local rival that issues them.

As for these H&B vouchers - quote 'we know they are abused & just like the R&R tricks, repeated abuse will just leave us with no alternative than to ban the person from the store.'

    !!!!!
Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.
  • wouldn't it be easier and more cost effective to simply amend the tills/vouchers to only allow one from each promotion to be used per transaction?
