Today when I tried to use my HB vouchers with the newspaper one I got told they have been told only to use one £2.50 as they had some people not paying at all for items!!! As everyone knows, what one person says doesn't mean that everyone else is told or acts on it. Had such a good day yesterday, was so put out today as I had two shops both with a surplus. I didn't dare hand over any of my Somerfield ones!!!!

6 pamolive shower gel - £10.74
total £21.86
minus multibuy savings total £11.56
minus £5 sun voucher - £6.56
minus 2x£2.50 h&b voucher - £1.56
minus 2x£1 h&b voucher - 44p in my pocket
plus 111 clubcard points

sa was shocked that i managed to get so much off!!

Did you use the sun 5.00 off a spend of 20.00 on BOGOFs ? How does that work? sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've never used these vouchers before. Do I only need to spend 10.00 then If I buy BOGOFs?

thanks to all here.I did 2 toiletries shop on stuff i usually buy and got them for 6£and 7£.I got 4x1£ off healthcare and 2 x 100 points for cold and flu remedies.Any swap for baby products/groceries/money off considered,need not be same value and all.happy shopping all.

Yes, spot on. It only works with the BOGOF's though as the discount comes off on the end. So you can buy £20 original value BOGOF then the discount will come off at the till and you can still use your £20 vouchers!!
I tried it with the half price items but as they scan at that price (the discount doesn't come off at the end) you have to spend a "real" twenty pounds on them.

Hiya sally06 :wave: the only dumb question is the one that is not asked. Really you need to purchase £20 worth of toiletries on bogof meaning the total is only £10 to pay.

I did one transaction today: I bought another 8 packs of wipes at £2.56 each = £20.48 - then it is halved to £10.24 (because of bogof) then I used:

1 x £5 sun voucher, 2 x £2.50 vouchers, 5 x £1 vouchers = £15.00 off my balance in vouchers so I had another £4.76 off my other store cupboard shopping. I also used 10 x 50 point vouchers and gained 500 points.

PS Sitting here covered in brown hair dye (on offer at tescos) and hoping that my red streaks have disappeared and that my hair doesn't go green :rolleyes: because that really would spoil Christmas ! LOL
