hi all, ive still not received any points via the search engines for a number of weeks now, im certain this is because ive changed computers - how do i alter the browser settings so that i can get credited for my searches?
(not up to speed with computers)
your help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks

Firstly, I would check whether you are receiving the daily 'reward' emails from Mutual Points. Have a look at your settings in the 'my account' section at the top right of the website. Check that you are subscribed to receive their reward emails.
Are you signed up with other 'click through' sites, ie Quidco, R Points etc and do you receive points for clicks at these sites?

no this is the only site i use & yes i receive the reward mails - ive mailed mutual points & they suggested i needed to look at what browser i use - how do i chage this or change the settings on the browser?
many thanks0 -
I use Outlook Express. I would go to Tools, Internet Options, Privacy and check that your cookie setting isn't too high. Mine is set a Medium. The problem could also be something to do with anti-virus or firewall software settings. Possibly other users may be able to suggest something.
Hope you manage to get it sorted.

I use firefox but I know a lot of people use internet explorer 7 and it does work so long as your settings are correct but I like to keep all the sites on this browser separate so I can save usernames and passwords automatically. My default browser is IE7 and I don't save any passwords on that as I prefer it that way for ordinary browsing. If you are only using mutual points you prob wont be that bothered about saving passwords though.
If you use this site for purchasing to be honest you could well find better % of cashback on other sites though. I'm joined up to 26 sites right now but only do purchases through the ones with the highest cashback for what I want to buy, I check before buying who is highest.
I also use mozilla as a back up so both mozilla and firefox are are set with all sites bookmarked and passwords etc.
You need to allow cookies on whatever browser you use and allow all pop ups. If you use spybot and adaware you have to ignore some things on there as they will stop tracking. I use avast free antivirus and have no probs with that. Just try those things first but as mutual don't update that often you prob would be better testing it on site that has quite quick updates some are straight away so you'd know then if it tracked.
Oh yes I disabled my spywareblaster too if you have that do it first
I forgot to say you must log out and close the browser everytime you leave and run ccleaner before you open the browser and after when youve logged out and closed it everytime. Also if you are doing pricerunner which is 5 a day you do them 5 separate visits, you can do the kelkoo with one of those visits at the same time.Thanx

I have a bit of a problem. I have been with mutual points for a couple of years now and had no problems, apart from now. I have not been any reward emails since before xmas. I have checked my account on mutual points and entered my email address again. I have not had them into my junk folder either.
Has anyone got any ideas?

I emailed them abou the same problem about a year ago, they altered something at their end and suddenly they all started appearing again. I think if any get bounced to them for any reason they stop sending them.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0

Do you think that I should email them about this and see if they start to come again.cross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot

Hi
I get the Mutual Points reward emails regularly and click on the bit that says click here for more rewards (or whatever it says) but I dont get any extra points added. I have 10 points from emails listed but these came when I first started using Mutual Points and I dont know how I go them.
The Daily Click points are going on every day so does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have emalled them to ask but have not had a reply.
Thanks0
