Is there any point going to Trading Standards?
They owe me £80. I have contacted them many times , but no reply. It's cant be right that they can get away with this.
"Is the parent company still in business?" - Yes and quoted on the AIM market (I no longer hold any of their shares sold up to cover government import duties on my wife.)
"They owe me £80. I have contacted them many times , but no reply. It's cant be right that they can get away with this." - They have no actual value until you have cashed them in I think chasing will cause you hassle and gain you nothing.
It is similar to when a company goes bust, although I think they should have, there is nothing I know of to say they must but it would have been good, given a period of notice of closure and when you should transfer any points to money by, a company can stop trading however it likes.
This company has got out of the consumer market, it does not care a fig what individuals think about it as yours is not the business market they are after.
You can try contacting the parent company (Progressive Digital Media) and see if this gets you anywhere but my advice is to just chalk it up and in future do not leave money in these accounts a second longer than you absolutely have to.
I was close to another £20 but in the end fell just short.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
I had also missing points, sent them countless e-mails, I even phoned them in a number that I was contacted by them some time ago but the number was unavailable...It's a pity because they used to be reliable and I have gained some good money from them just for clicking on e-mails and via recurring offers...0

Just to update the company has had more splits and changes the bit that did run the Mutualpoints business has gone off into a private company which is why I suspect it stopped doing business as mutualpoints and closed the site down.
The company that was progressive Digital media is Now known (from 8 am today) as Globaldata PLC and has the epic DATA.L on the share exchanges.
I think this is the final nail in anything mutualpoints and all hope should now be lost.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0
