If we eat between 5-6 then by the time I've put little one to bed & come back downstairs it's 8pm. The last thing on my mind is cooking dinner, although in the early months of having little one, we were eating late & hated it. I felt so bloated. I might have a snack now but seem to get bloated if we eat really late. After all the jobs that need doing I tend to sit down for a bit of carp telly at about 9pm & up to bed at 10am but do tend to read/use Internet until late! Between 5pm and 6pm also.
Unless my husband is on call, when sometimes I'll stagger the dinners, ie, toddler at 4.30pm, 2 teens at 6pm and hubby whenever he rolls in as I'll cook something different for everyone.
Most of the time though, I'll cook the same for everyone and we'll all eat at the table, and anyone who is missing will have theirs plated up for when they get in.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

When we had a dining table I usually had tea on the table for 6ish no I stagger meals for the kids and us due to no table, moving and laziness really! But cannot wait to have a dining table again and sit down together! I will aim for 5-6pm with an 18month and a 3 1/2 year old.0

Even if I go out for dinner, I prefer to eat at around or before 8pm - any later than that and usually it would still be sitting on my stomach when I went to bed :rotfl:.
I can't imagine cooking at 8pm - thats when my DD is winding down ready for bed, my dishes are washed by then and on the draining board, and I've usually had a cup of coffee or 2 after dinner by that time.0

During the week it's just me an LO (just turned 1). He eats pretty much the same as me, at the same time as me (around 8-8.30pm).
On weekends we only eat twice a day (LO has breakfast but we wait to have brunch).Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

My dishes get left for the next day. If there's something good from prime time TV I catch it on one of the +1 channels, probably why I'm still up now, its not till Cinderella hour that I get my "me" time these days.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0

Anytime between 10pm and midnight. He's never up before 10am. I was exactly the same as a baby. It suits us.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
