The time being out would make no difference to recording the numbers of units used, would only affect switchover if you are on off peak tariff.
The time being out would make a tremendous amount of difference, because you would end up paying for over an hours + mins worth of electricity, and if your meter is calibrated to take a certain tarrif per hour, that would soon mount up, especially if you have 6 million customers. My meter, like the last meter that was also wrong and gained minutes, b4 a meter reader pushed is way through my daughter and got to the meter to adjust it. ( and for the record Energywatch papers will confirm my every detail, but they were to busy setting up another organisation.:beer:0 -
