Hi,I also genuinly kno the meter is wrong, because here in England the time is exactly 9.18/or 21.18, but my meter tells me a didfferent time
so what time is your meter showing?
The time being out would make no difference to recording the numbers of units used, would only affect switchover if you are on off peak tariff.0 -
Thanks backfoot, I not want any claim or anything else, I just want people to understand and not get ripped off, as in my case its gone on to long and all these so called organisations are getting paid by the electric companys, I have done this so someone in high authority hopefully take notice...and no one else should suffer..
Thank you and everyone else for there advice ty.
Earlier in the thread you wanted advice about where you could take your dispute.
Now you have changed it just to a warning to other people. It can't be a warning because you need to explain what the dispute is exactly about. At the moment it's totally baffling.
You have mentioned having meters forced on you, calibration issues, faulty and wrong designed meters and more recently time problems (which I assume relates to an Economy 7 metering set up?)
It's a very entertaining thread but at the moment I don't think we have helped you, nor you us.:)0 -

As for the issue of the minutes gained, can you explain some more - or would this come under intellectual property?
why is the first 3 letters of consumption in black bold letters?0 -
Hi,
because in post 41 you referred to it as power a$$umption.0 -

wouldn't let me highlight that word, thus a$$.0 -
Meters can often be out by as much as an hour. This does not usually cause problems so you need to give more information re this.
Yes Joyful due to the the time difference in uk, it will allways be out exactly one hour out in the summer period. But if I told you my meter was 1 hour plus xx minutes out? would you say its faulty?
The reason the industry charges for testing is to stop people who use too much energy thinking the meter is faulty when it is normally how they are using it.
pass?
This way a customer will be made to think more carefully about the problem without jumping into testing. The billing company does not own the meter and if no charge was put in place then everyone would wanting there meters tested whenever we have a cold spell. By charging but giving the money back again only if there is a genuine faulty meter this stops the waste of everybodies time.
pass?
If you have not done this then you cannot complain about a faulty meter and be believed that it really was faulty. What was the Ombudsmans ruling?
it is faulty, I can assure you,The ombudsman doesnt know the full facts. so he/she, has not/cant make a ruling.?0 -
