  • I think you may have got the wrong end of the stick!!

I was joking about the laptop... hence the rolly on the floor men.

As for me judging Teco staff... again it was tongue in cheek.... if you look at my previous posts you will see I am one of the biggest defenders of them, they get what they can and good luck to them I say.

I probably didn't make it clear in my post but it doesn't seem that you have put the time and effort in to read any of my previous posts as you will see they are all positive whether it be about MSErs or Tesco Staff.

The only time I moan and am negative is when bone idle people are complaining that Mr T staff are getting bargains and they are not (and most of the time it is because they themselves are too lazy).

I did say well done on your finds.. that is hardly negative.

    Job done... friends again?? :)

    Friends. Sorry.

I think I was probably just feeling sensitive and knew i was pushing my luck, but willing to try anything. Long story short, my delightful ex promised our son a laptop/netbook for his birthday last week, promised it him for the last month or so, so son was majorly excited. Sons birthday was Thursday, his dad was nowhere to be seen, didnt even ring up. Turns up Friday, and took son to Tesco and told him he only had £30 to spend on his pressie. Son was very brave and tried not to care, but obviously he was gutted and disappointed. Hence the desperation for said laptop so that I could try and make up for it. Oh, and my sons has just turned 7, far to young to see how lame his dad is

Anyways, hopefully this helps explain? Not your fault, so sorry for biting :S x

Karen i've heard the same thing. One lovely assistant told me that a man had gone to the counter and demanded the £10 sat navs. She said people had been rude, insisting staff go check again etc etc.

Treasure hunt is a great name for it! I've been out way past midnight on a number of occasions. One evening I put over 180 miles on my clock... in one evening! I'm onto my third £60 tank of petrol and i'm loving it! Some stores nothing, some stores loads. Yesterday I managed to pick up a Karcher vacuum cleaner and my heart was pounding. Hubby spent all last night playing with his new boy toy.

    I love you Tesco... :T

can I come shopping with you Angelina I hate driving and would love a chauffer :D

Managed to get a kenwood hand blender for £4 and the food processor for £9 today at L9ughb9r9ugh Extra both on the top shelf. Got a weaning 6month old so great for me! There was another £4 hand blender but didn't need it so left it for someone else. It's right a the back of the top shelf with one of the 7 function blenders infront so you will have to look for it (11 function one is the only reduced one). Was really looking for a sewing machine for my MIL cos hers is broke and she has lent it to me loads in the past (I didn't break it though!). Never mind, chuffed with the processor! HTH

hiya just wondering which food processor is scanning at £9 thanks

You should have said earlier, its been quite lonely at times!!

My Mother often came with me but then went off to the caravan leaving me a lone bargain hunter, eating my Tesco sandwiches in the car park like billy no mates! :D

Kenwood FP196 in chrome I believe, from reading lists posted previously in thread. I tried looking for one, couldn't find that model, scanned the others but all were full price.

Just got back from Ab*ngdon Tesco and they have a good spec pink Fujitsu camera marked at £40, but scanning at £10.
There is no box, cable or instruction book though. I wanted it for a present, but maybe if you wanted it for yourself its a good deal if you can get a connector cable for it.

Most these days are standard micro or mini usb connectors. I usually remove the card and put it in a card reader though rather than struggling to find a cable.
