TESCO Silly Price Electrical Items

I suspect some stores still have stock for this reason with staff being dismissive of the idea of laptops being £50, when they're normally £300+. Bet some of them get bored when they have a spare minute (after telling customers prices are what the shelf says) get scanning and bet some staff find themselves some bargains.
You're probably right, but asking about stock in store is different to asking for "spare" items on here. Very few people are going to have a "spare" new laptop (or TWO!!) or flip camcorder because they're such desirable items and most of us have family and friends who'd like them.
If "don't ask, don't get" justifies asking people to pass on their bargains at cost price, I am going to write to the next lottery winner. Dear lottery winner, you just won the lottery so can I have some please? I play every week but I haven't won yet. A cheque will be fine, and I'm happy to pay for the postage. Thanks, EmH

@EmH
If you look o the toy thread everyone is asking for things and swapping things, I personally have been looking out for things that other people have been asking for. The point of this forum is money saving and personally I have no problem with people asking for things.
I don't want to start an argument so I'll leave it at that, If you don't agree with some of the posts, ignore them and carry on.:j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0 -

Yes please
Do you know roughly how heavy they are?
not sure....previous poster said the actual lumies were approx 2.2k costing about £10 postage.....mine are in the loft at the mo but will weigh them tomorrow...box is approx size of small pampers box and i'd say it weighs about as much as a big toaster (been hunting round picking things up to try and compare it too!!!!)....hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

hi Carol, sorry my post was part of an earlier conversation where I was wondering if anyone in NI had got hold of the cheap external hard drives, as I've had no luck either. Only store saw the hitachi one was in @nt.r1m but it was full price.So you've had no luck either then?! I wonder were they cheap anywhere in NI. Haven't heard of anybody here getting any.
Be nice - it's free!

Any chance you can move on from this in the not too distant future?
You've made your point of view very clear and people will either agree or disagree. It's becoming a tad monotonous.0 -

i think you are taking that too far, many people including myself have asked people if they have any spare laptops, kindles, camera, camcorders etc etc no-one is asking anyone to give up something they have got for themselves, however people are asking in case someone has bought one for family/friends who dont need/want it and would be willing to share with others on here
as for you comment above to me - if you checked my previous posts correctly you will have seen that i have also posted on the toys thread - my local store doesnt seem to have any electrical bargains so i cannot offer to help anyone on this thread - however when i was in i did notice that they had toys, i have no interest in the toys so hadnt scanned any of them but now have a list of things i am going to check out for others - i would consider this to be helping others no???
i do not see how it is relevant what age my kids are or how you would possibly know if they are in their teens or not - if i wish to buy my kids a laptop each then that is my business - i am not asking to to finance them so i dont see why you have taken offence to this!0
