my question is...they're quite heavy...so if i do find any, does anyone want me to get them one? I know everyone will pprobably want the lumie...but if they only have the Philips ones, would anyone want those? If so,i'll get them and post on here if anywhere has any!

For information, the Lumie, boxed but without any packaging, weighs 2.2kg, which is just under £10 to send by Recorded delivery within mainland UK.

    May contain nuts

  • All4abargain and mummy1983, I price checked the twin dvd players in both kn@cknag@ney and Carri@k and they were full pric :( Did anyone in NI have any luck with them or the lumies?

thanks, it was prob the same story in C)l3r4ine then, i felt bad i had saw it and then found out somebody wanted it.

no i haven't saw a single lumie clock anywhere, and have been keeping my eyes peeled, as i have a similar clock (it's great) and would love to buy one for my Mum.

has anyone in NI saw any stores stocking the ebook readers or cheap hard drives? only know of hard drives in ant.r!m but they were full price :-(
    :) Be nice - it's free! :)

 If you 'like' or find anyone's post useful, please take a moment to click "thanks"

We'd ALL like one and many people have been looking every bit as hard as you. If someone has one going spare I'm sure they'll post on here offering it. I've just checked and you've asked for TWO laptops/netbooks and a flip camcorder on more than one occasion.

Please stop asking for stuff, especially luxury, non-essential stuff like laptops and camcorders. We'd all like it but most people are managing not to make begging posts.

I've not found any bargains either but just because others have it doesn't entitle me to expect them to give them to me, no matter how often I've looked for one!

"Don't ask, don't get" is not a good reason to keep asking people for luxury items cheap. If I'm wrong about that please someone correct me because I've got a heck of a wishlist of things I can't afford!

is there a problem here ??

last night i posted that my daughters would LIKE laptops for xmas - you then go on to have a rant about how it amazes you that kids NEED laptops and how you had to wait until you were 21 etc

i then post that i am looking for laptops and flip camera - you then go on a rant about people asking others for spares etc. I have posted asking for things, i have also had a look for things that i am not interested in in stores in the hope to help others in this site.

really hoping this is a coincidence!!!

as for dont ask dont get is not a good reason - i am guessing when you are in store you do not go and ask staff if they have any luxury items reduced???

and for what it is worth - everything that has been listed on sale woul dbe considered a luxury and not an essential item!

  • Ive no idea what a hard drive actually is, so I'm of no use there, had a good oul nosey for e readers myself, daughter has a kindle she had bought with savings and her father has been borrowing it so the e reader would have been great but again, no dice.

Yes please :D Using Amazon to 'estimate', they seem to be around 2kg boxed ... between £4.41 (standard parcels) and £9.05 (special delivery)
