No, no, you don't need to offer to swap anything. You just ask if anyone has one "spare" and offer to pay postage.

    May contain nuts
  • I got a phillips 8300 steam generator iron for £20 today, i thought the S.A was not going to let me have it, so i said she could have my list of reduced prices so she could go out back and have a look for herself. so she said deal and i bought it there and then, while we were talking, i said i really wanted a new babyliss hairdryer, straightner's and a laptop on the list. about 20 minutes later i got a tap on the shoulder and she said my things were ready to collect at the electricals counter, where she gave me the Hairdryer and straightner's and did i want a tom tom xl for £25 quid ? i said yes and gave her a £20 off tom tom till spit and she fell about laughing, she admitted there was one laptop but she wanted it and i said fair enough and a tom tom xl she was going to have too, so i opened my purse and gave her a till spit for £20 0ff.
I know people will moan about me giving a list of reduced things but people seem to forget that the SA's are feeling the pinch too.

The jellies are on their way! But please don't send me any more kids!
  • A very big thank you to 'makinprogress'. I checked this thread at 6pm and after reading about reduced laptops in Leeds Br@ml3y I phoned Tesco CS to ask if there were any left but was told that I need to go down and check myself.

So I drove down like a maniac (within legal limits) from Pudsey only to be told at the desk that they have all gone.

Not giving up I went downstairs myself and asked a member of staff who told me that the £99 ones went but there was 1 left for £150.

Back at the CS desk the guy scanned it and said it's coming up at £299 but then said he'll override the price to £150 since the SEL was for £150.

Thank you again, makinprogress. Don't give up guys I'm sure there are more out there. :j:j:j:j:j

    Could've got DTD! :D
I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!

Right, my last swap for tonight - one partly used husband, has been taken out of the box but looks new. I am looking for a talking Iggle Piggle.
