In your case I would recommend you to contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0844 49 333 49 - our experienced agents will be able to help you in your flight search for Cuba, or they can advise on alternative destinations that might be suitable for when you want to travel.

    Thanks,

Hi Stefanie from Airmiles, as I understand it, I can currently add an infant under two without a seat reservation to my Airmiles booking for 10% of the normal miles, and no taxes or fees. Is this correct?
Will infant fares be changing under the Avios scheme? How much will it cost to add an infant to an Avios booking (i) for a European flight with adult taxes and fees capped at £27, (ii) for a non-European or non-BA/Iberia flight?

    Hi cartesian,

Infant fares will continue to be charged at a discounted rate of 10% of the adult fare price on Airmiles Zone fares. Reward Flight Saver fares on zones 1-3 require customers to pay 10% of the fare plus £10 for the infant.

The £27 capped payment applies to regular collectors (members who have collected one Airmile in the past year) for flights to zones 1,2 and 3.

A link to all Airmiles zones and destinations may be found at: http://www.airmiles.co.uk/spend

    I hope this is helpful.

To discuss this further, please don't hesitate to contact the Customer Contact Centre on 0844 49 333 49

    Thanks,
    Stefanie

  • Not sure if it has been mentioned - but send in any paper miles now - otherwise they will become worthless

    Hi cairndog,

    Stefanie from Airmiles here.

Paper miles are expiring on 30 November 2011, so you need to send them in to us by then. Any miles received after this date can't be credited to your account.

Please make a note of serial numbers and send paper miles by registered post, including your membership number, name and address to the following address:

    Voucher Banking,
    PO Box 90,
    Birchwood,
    Warrington,
    WA3 7XA

Airmiles will be credited to your account within 28 days of receipt.

    I hope this helps.

To discuss how to use your paper miles in more detail, please call the Customer Contact Centre on
    0844 49 333 49.

    Thanks,
    Stefanie

    Hi loates123,

Depending on what type of trip you're planning, the Customer Contact Centre could help you to use your Airmiles to book a package deal to either of these destinations, rather than just flights. The number to call is 0844 49 333 49.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Stefanie

Thats likely due to the Olympics next summer. The general feeling is that no carrier is likely to issue reward/airmile flights when they are confident they can sell them for cash.
