has anyone got experiance using airmiles for non flight rewards? Can't get seats on any dates I could potentially used for flights so I'm looking at other options, had a look at the selection of package holidays on the airmiles site but they all seem like last minute deals and not particularly great offers.

Yes - I booked one a few months back for next Spring. Not perhaps a particularly cost-effective way of using Airmiles (flights are better value for the moment) but we had a lot to use.

My aim now is to get rid of what we've got and ditch Airmiles altogether for something that offers better value. It was once a great scheme, but they've got greedier and greedier and ripped the heart out of it.

    Hi loates123,

You can book flights to Havana on the Airmiles website on Iberia Airlines and Air Canada.

Malkie76 is correct, the British Airways flights you found are actually operated by Iberia.

As I'm sure you're aware, Virgin Atlantic is not affiliated with the Airmiles scheme so I can't comment on their availability.

    Thanks,

Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.:D
  • Hi Stefanie from Airmiles, as I understand it, I can currently add an infant under two without a seat reservation to my Airmiles booking for 10% of the normal miles, and no taxes or fees. Is this correct?
Will infant fares be changing under the Avios scheme? How much will it cost to add an infant to an Avios booking (i) for a European flight with adult taxes and fees capped at £27, (ii) for a non-European or non-BA/Iberia flight?

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me here. I'm saving airmiles and have been for ages in the hope that one day I can get a flight to Australia.
Now that its changing I'm hoping to buy some miles off ebay to get the required amount of points for the flight. How easy is it to merge accounts please?
    Thanks a lot,
    Al

Ok, so why do people buy accounts from ebay, can you change those details to the same address once you have bought them? Thank you.
