But what you make at home is your choice from what you buy at Subway or a local sandwich shop. I do think that subway is very overpriced, I went in yesterday to be honest for the £5 footlong meal deal which they have now decided to stop on that day?!?!?!? but let me off this time! Why advertise it everywhere then suddenly change that it's ended that very day! They now have a £3 meal deal 6" sub with drink and crisps or cookie, with just the basic fillings no melt etc just things like ham, tuna, italian bmt etc or you could have it footlong for £5. With the fillings they've now put on this deal they've lost me as a customer.
I know I really should make my own sandwiches because I have a sandwich van but sometimes I really can't be bothered lol.

So you actually own a takeaway as well as visiting one. What the hell is wrong with proper food?0 -

No I have a mobile sandwich van it's a Jiffy Truck google and have a look at one. Much Much different from a "take away" we provide healthy food aswell as confectionary. On the one day off I get I don't really fancy making myself a sandwich or any other food. Your more than welcome to come and cook for me at the weekend if your free??

This thread is ridiculous.
How on earth could I afford a foot long baguette, herbs and cheese for the topping, steak and cheese for the inside, lettuce, cucumber, pickles and jalapeños, hot chilli sauce, ingredients for a cookie, 500ml of fizzy pop and a cool bag for under £5??
Then make it every day, on the off chance I may get hungry and want a steak sub?
