Just back from the weekly trawl round Mr T's - spent £25.67 on groceries and £3.69 on a cheap own brand bottle of rose (perfectly OK to drink).

I was aiming for £20-25 so only a little bit over on the grocery shopping - dog food was £6 of the total:eek:
I also picked up a chana masala and some cheap naan breads at a total of about £2 for tea instead of a £10 takeaway tonight so I suppose I'm saving there too!

Also got some bargain toiletries - Timotei is £1, Radox bubble bath is 95p and Imperial Leather shower gel is 76p.

Red grapes are also on offer for £1 a punnet - not bad! Strawberries and raspberries are also 2 for £3. May help someone?
  • Small spends - Asda £2 and Lidl £2.50 to log.

    Asda -
3 pots cream reduced to 32p in total!
    2 parnsips
    1 stewpack

    Lidl -
Bar cheapo choc for making stirring spoons with
JD Grosse 70% Ecuadorian choc - LOVELY
    6 brown rolls
    4pts purple milk
Trying very hard to be frugal and OS - just plodding on and doing my best!

  • Well i nipped to Sainsburys this morning and i'm still trying to get my head around how much i spent.......
    Spent £82.71 but used a £1 coupon, a £12 off £60 spend and a £10 off a £55 spend, so total came to £58.71.

Bought 3 x 15kg bags of wagg dog food £10.49 each and hubby gave me £30 towards (dog food doesn't come out of grocery bud).
Work tea/coffee/biscuit, which cost me £9.98 and had been given £10 to get these items.

So that comes to £41.45, so i managed to get my own shopping for £17.26, but should have cost me £41.26, think thats right............... i'm totally confused.

Will add £18 to my sig.

This will hopefully be my last shop between now and Friday when i get paid and a new grocery month starts for, may just come in under budget.
