Really don't want to spend if i haven't got to as DH car is due an mot towards the end of the moth and the tax is also due at the end of the month. £30.40 today in aldi and local fruit and veg shop. Shouldn't need anymore top up's on the fruit and veg this week. Fingers crossed anyway.

  • Hi everyone

Hugs/Spoons/Sticks to all those who need.

Have now spent a further £11.05 on toilet rolls/dog food and milk.

So total spend of £21.53.... £18.47 left in my groceries purse. Need to nip to the shops tomorrow to pick up coffee and sugar but those will be refunded by work so no need to count those spends.

Off to do a stock take of cupboards and meal plan for the week.

    Have a good weekend all.

Had to do a shop this morning and ended up spending £55.43
I know my budget is £400 for the month, but it is so depressing to hit that first £100:(
It did include toilet rolls, 2 jars of coffee, 2 x butter, stock cubes, 4 bottles of bogof washing-up liquid, a restock of pasta, dry spaghetti, tinned tomatoes and cooking oil, all things that I don't buy every week, plus meat, veg and yet more milk!
So should have enough in for at least a weeks worth of meals and hopefully more.

Have been blackberry and apple picking today, got 5lb of blackberries and just under 22lb of apples.
The blackberries are small and the apples will need a lot cut out of them, but will both still make some yummy crumbles/pies etc and any good apples are just about ok to eat :T

Just back from Mr T's in Yeovil with an absolute bargain. Boxes of 48 pouches of Whiskas - Garden Produce variety for £3.99 Normal Price £13.99.
Blown this weeks budget but what the hey they will go into the stockpile and get used over following weeks - trust me to have a bl**dy fussy cat!
  • been to home bargains this morning, OH felt the need for popcorn and its 4 microwave packs for £1 so got some in and a curry sauce for emergencies (and because im not brave enough to try my own as yet) Also got some cuppa soups for OH for work, bargain prices so spent £3.54 leaving us £60.22/£160 for the remainder of our month (until the 25th)

Plans for a tesco shop this afternoon so am expecting at least a £30 shop and then we will see where the wind takes us for next week lol

OMG don't seem to have stopped spending the last couple of days, still need the dog food which will cost £15 but am hoping they will last out til friday (dried food so never quite sure) when I will pass a Mr Ms rather than making a special trip. I have full cupboards, fridge and 2 freezers so really don't need anything and am hoping for a run of 5 NSDs now - fingers crossed.
