A NSD for me today, that makes it a weeks worth of NSD's, a record for me :j
Roast pork and trimmings today then apple and blackberry crumble made from yesterdays pickings for pudding.

I have realised that I have bags of meat in the freezer that I have not labeled :o So meals this week will be a case of, whatever it turns out to be once it is defrosted. I really must get in the habit of labeling things and not just thinking 'oh I will remember what that is', it all looks pretty simular once it is frozen!

    Up to £226.79 now :s

Most of which has been homewares (bedding, throws, slow cooker etc) and wine/mojito- been a tough week lol!

Still want to get a new jacket and other clothes out of the £600 so need to keep food spends to a minimum. Have lunch stuff for next week in, so hopefully no spends till next weekly shop on Thurs.
September GC: £400.00/£600 (everything except mortgage & bills)

    Thanks Helen :heartsmil

Back from foraging, took DS's out and showed them what to look for... they really loved finding the bushes and picking the berries :) We now have a nice little hoard of (free) blackberries, rosehips and sloes :D

Also, looking at the menu plan, we shouldn't need too much shopping until the weekend... just some eggs to keep baking as I have used about 2 dozen in the past week :o

This thread moves so fast !

A few small shops this last week (mostly reduced items :D) and a biggie today. Total spends so far = £182.83.

Cupboards fridge and freezer are now bursting at the seams so I should only need to top up on milk/bread/eggs over the next 2 weeks.

Looking good for coming in under budget :j

Just popping in to update total - now £166.50.

I've got a S*insburys delivery on Tues which will be about £60. I tried to change some Nectar point into evouchers to use on this but have been told I need 1000 points to get a voucher (typically I've got 938). I'm sure it was 500 points for a £2.50 evoucher last time I did it. Anyway, I've also got a £12 off £60 voucher to use so not so bad.

Hope everybody's having a good September.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
