Can anyone recommend an eye cream? I am currently using LE which I quite like but can't justify just ordering an eye cream when I don't need anything else.

Thought I had quite a bit left but went to use it this morning and had to really squeeze the tube to try and get some out.

    Any suggestions?

I use the Boots Vitamin E one with SPF 15. It's slightly tinted so it offers a little bit of coverage and really helps make my eyes look better.

I like the Boots Time Delay - I've been using it all year and still have one in stash. Good value too at just over £2 if you use a £5 skinny (£7 something without :p)

Had a really awful weekend :( My Mum and I finally have had to admit to ourselves that my brother has become the self-centred, self-absorbed person we've been trying to steer him away from for years and unfortunately he has married someone who enables it. I've come home to find Facebook full of sly comments basically saying how she can't wait til I leave - some she must have posted whilst I was sat right next her  - they didn't make me feel welcome at all, I spent most of the weekend sat on my own not daring to move or change the TV channel. It's not the first time but by golly it will be the last! I can't keep forcing them to have a relationship with me so have to face it and just give up. I'm very sad, hurt and quite angry too. They've managed to push all of her family away now they are starting on his - well I won't fight it anymore.

No IN's or UU's - did pick up but then put back the telegraph with the £5 BS voucher in it on Sunday so yay! for me :p

    Hugs to all

    Two more UUs here:

Ganier Movida semi-permanent hairdye in chestnut. Reasonably mess free and my hair has a nice subtle redish tone to it. WBA.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation sachet. Even if the colour wasn't quite right, I was really impressed with the coverage. Have never looked at Chanel make up in my life but might well consider buying this one day.

Afternoon ladies. I received my Molton Brown freebie -Navigations Through Scent Lijiang courtesy of Facebook. It smells very nice and comes in a mini spray bottle. It has reminded me that my Burberry freebie and my Ambers Bisquits have still not arrived. Maybe my postie is enjoying them instead!

I was at physio last night and by back is aching today. My physio did warn me though. Not been like this in a few months. Still would rather pay for maintenance than waiting for it to go...

Lynseydee - I use a few different eye creams. I do like the No 7 P & P eye cream.

LM - I use Tigi Dumb Blonde Conditioner for chemically treated hair which I really rate. It can be used daily as a conditioner and also as a hair mask too. It does say on the packaging that you don't need to be blonde to use it :p

Thanks hun and thanks for saying that you don't have to be blonde to use it. That's why I kept steering away from it!

The skincare skinny - I'm guessing that one is due next as we've had a perfume one and a No7 recently :D

Totally OT: I just saw this link on FB about exam 'howlers' and had to share as I laughed til it hurt :rotfl::rotfl:

  • *hugs* and sympathies to Flirtini and family :(

I have two INs to report - Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner samples which were in a magazine I bought at lunchtime. I'll use them tonight though so they'll be virtually instant OUTs, although I don't have a particularly itchy scalp so I'm intrigued to see if they do anything for me...
