  • Three OUTs in the shower this morning:

Body Shop Nutmeg and Vanilla Shower Gel - WBA (or this Christmas' version anyway) as it smelt lovely and lathered up really nicely. As a once a year treat I think it's perfectly acceptable.

Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Anti-Dandruff Shampoo/Conditioner - Possibly WBA as my hair does feel nice and soft and it's reasonably affordable, although as I don't have a particularly itchy scalp I'm not entirely sure it's the best way to spend my money.

  • Morning ladies, I hope everybody is well and hugs to Flirtini. I think you're excused the naughty step for your No7 purchases!

    UUs
Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day shampoo (from the tote): WIBA? Maybe. Smelt nice. I don't really have a preference for shampoo/conditioner at the moment, though did like JF Brilliant Brunette more in the past. I'm going to be moving on to the TIGI Catwalk Sleek Mystique shampoo.
John Frieda Straight Ahead Conditioner: WIBA? No. It was decent enough, but I used this range for a while and got bored of it. In order to UU quicker I did use it as a form of shaving gel with my epilator. I think it's the first time I've UU a shampoo and conditioner at the same time  Onto the matching TIGI Catwalk conditioner now (I bought a 'tween' set)

For my daily perfume, I decided in the end to go with Space NK Stillness that a friend bought for me 2-3 years ago. It's initially stronger than ones I prefer, but having just sniffed my wrist, the scent's already gone. Maybe I should carry the bottle around with me!

There are Wilko's and Savers in London, but on the outskirts. I checked the Savers website and saw there was one not far from where I work, but there's no way I can get the during the week, and Sunday I'm never in the area! Same problem with Wilkinson. There's a few around but more outskirts AFAIK (zone 4 definitely, maybe zone 3 too).

Lynseydee was totally right about the support and care on this thread, which is probably why I'm still here! You are the nicest bunch I've met online without any doubt :) (Ok, I don't really chat online other than here, but my heart's in the right place :p ) :rotfl:

  • Quick question, anybody else trying the new Maxfactor foundation/serum (I can't remember what it's called :o), does it make your face feel itchy?? I feel like I'm about to scratch half my face off :eek:

(And that's not a normal feeling for me!)

I didn't get an itchy/scratchy feeling - but TBH I didn't leave it on very long as it was very heavy on my skin :(

broke almost a two month stint of not buying toiletries, yesterday i bought some face wipes. I'm down to one pack in stock in one in use and have been looking around but they all seem to have become more expensive of late. Anyway i got some on 3 for 2 for £1 i hope they're ok but i'm sure i'll soon find out. They can always be used as dusters if they're lousy.

Thanks for the reply Sarah. I'll give it a couple of hours, and drink plenty of water in case it's just that I'm dehydrated. If I feel the same it's going to have to come off!! Luckily got a mini Clinique Lids Lips Lashes at work from Glamour magazine that I keep forgetting to take home :)

  • There's a Savers in Ealing, and one in Shepherd's Bush too (my friend told me), but I haven't seen Wilko's anywhere. Mind you I haven't really looked!

Felt abit itchy and very heavy - but then i am used to mineral powder foundation now.
i have only been wearing it in the evenings anyway as it is too orange for me to go out in!!!

some use ups (kind of) to report - my mascara (no7 dream lash) has gone all clumpy so i had to chuck it away this morning

therefore i will have an in at some point in the next few days of a new mascara. thinking of trying miss sporty as it gets very good reviews on boots
