  • Ooohh Rosemary, that's why I stay away from Clarins now, they always somehow make you buy more so you get the free stuff and then you have to keep going back because you want all the free stuff!

3 UU's to report this evening:

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo - WNBA, didn't feel like it did anything to my hair really. Going to stick to the Lush stuff.

Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner - Same as above.

Aussie Leave in Conditioner - WNBA. Had this for well over a year and it just makes my hair sticky not matter how much or little I use.

Ladies, I've just realised that this thread has been going for nearly TWO YEARS now!

And you know what? I have used up a lot of toiletries, but I STILL have loads to use! :o

Pickle, i joined a Use it up challenge when i first started here in 2006 so i think in one guise or another for donkey's years. I think i've got more stuff now than i had then but i am using things up now which is great, i think that's because the thread is more interactive now than it was back then.

One IN to report, but no money spent as it was a win. :)

Vosene kids Afterswim Hair & Body Wash - I won't use this on my hair because Vosene apparently strips colour from hair (just like head and shoulders) but it smells lovely so hopefully it'll be okay as a body wash. :)

  • Valm the garnier BB verdict - I used it instead of moisturiser, and I bought the light shade as am quite fair. Blended in really well and it did give a smooth finish and made pores look smaller and softened frown lines. The girls at work commented that I looked really well and that my skin did look good (I did fess up to what it was I had used). The only thing I did notice was that I do have an oily t zone and that by lunchtime I would say i was looking a bit shiny so tomorrow I am going to try some anti shine before applying.

Hey lovelies. Does anyone know if Tigi do a shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair? I posted a thread about my roots being incredibly sticky after washing and someone said that it might help. x

Forgot to add, my hair is black.

  • ....well its nearly the end of the month and I dont feel I have used much up this month at all!

I'm quite proud of myself as I have been quite restrained and kept away from my usual haunts which tempt me into buying nice bathroomy stuff!

used up a toothpaste (does that count?- I hoard toothpaste as well!) and a Sunsilk shampoo today (I would buy again, as it smelt lovely, but I got it from the £ shop and I dont think they have any left now as it was weeks ago) but I've still got dozens of bottles of all sorts of things around the bathroom and bedroom.

I have realised it is totally bonkers to hoard toothpaste, shampoo and shower gel...there is never going to be a world shortage and I'm (hopefully) never going to be in the position where I cant afford to buy a basic shower gel even if I lose my job and income, so why do I hoard things??!! Just habit I suppose.

I think I will have a lot more UUs next month!!

Can anyone recommend an eye cream? I am currently using LE which I quite like but can't justify just ordering an eye cream when I don't need anything else.

Thought I had quite a bit left but went to use it this morning and had to really squeeze the tube to try and get some out.

    Any suggestions?
