No to buying unnecessary toiletries in September!

Aargh, in my determination not to buy anymore toiletries, I've avoided all the BS glitches and now I'm down to my last supplies. I resent having to pay full price now for BS.
Ins to report:
Boots rose n tint lip balm: It's ok, doesn't seem very moisturising but maybe I have to trial it for longer.
Dove go fresh antiperspirant: Nice and refreshing lemon fragance.
I bought these two items for my work bag so I don't have to keep on swapping items between the days when I take my gym bag to work. Not really moneysaving, but time saving.
I've also opened up my last bodyshop face cream which is the carrot oil one. It seems a lot thicker than usual, don't know whether they've just the formula or it's always been like this and I've forgotten because I haven't used it a while.
Also down to my last BS shea butter. WNBA unless it is an emergency becuase it is cheaper to mix up my own shea butter.0 -
A couple of INS won a S&G breakfast scrub and hand cream on Ebay yesterday for a bargain £4 and £2.50 postage:) Didn't have a scrub and my bag and work handcream are starting to splutter.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -

morning ladies, lovely bright day here today after lots of rain on sunday when i had planned to go blackberrying:(
started a BS vit e serum WNBA it left my skin feeling very tight and dry and had to put loads of moisturiser on top:(am going to try the max factor sample this week, does nayone know if it goes onto bare skin or on top of moisturiser?0 -
Hello! My mum visited this week, a great opportunity to 'gift' some of my stash. I got rid of more than 10 products. I really like my new Givenchy eye pencil, so got rid of all the old ones. However, it's really hard to remove, my Simple eye make-up remover doesn't cope with it. I'll have to get the Garnier 2 in 1, read a lot about it on this forum
I also got some cotton pads from Primark, they are utterly carp. It's just some round shaped fluff packed into a bag. The worst cotton pad I ever saw.0 -

According to the booklet they sent me it goes on over your moisturiser0 -
A UU A 250 ml Dove Firming Body Lotion with White Tea. WIBA? Well, I don't believe that anything applied to the skin will firm me up, so as far as I was concerned this was just a rich moisturising lotion. I got it from Poundland, I think, tho I've also seen it in Home Bargains. I certainly wouldn't pay the full price for it - I think it was in S'drug for £4.50 ish - no way! For £1 ish it was great value for money, and I certainly would get it again. It had a really pleasant scent, was nicely thick and rubbed in very well. No stickiness or 'pilling'.
Quite a few splutterers, so hoping to post some more UU's in the next few days.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again...
