I know! Just been browsing them online, some nice stuff but will try to keep away (until the sales! lol)Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Hi all, hope everyone is well.
2x UU for me in the last few days.
Simple moisturising facial wash WIBA? This was the longest LHJ ever, had been open since January, bought in the Tesco buy one get two free simple deal, so still have two leftmight not open a new one for a bit.
I feel your pain! I've had this facial wash open for about a year and it seems bottomless. And it's so dull!!0 -
alberto balsam tea tree tingle conditioner-WNBA- I think I still have another 2 in the cupboard:( my dad bought these thinking they were shampoo but then gave them to me. Very runny meant I went through a bottle quicker than shampoo (1 bottle of HE usually lasts 2 shampoo bottles) so not very MSE and has left my hair a matted, tangled, dry mess. I don't shave my legs so no idea what to do with the remaining bottles. I think I will take out a thicker conditioner and mix the 2 together, this will be a LHJ
You could try using them as a conditioner in your washing machine? I used one up once that i didnt like by doing that.Errrr...come back later0 -
A couple more UU Tesco vitamin E face wash, still at least another couple of fash wash things to go so no need for anymore. Don't really use face wash so probably wouldnt buy again for a while. A milk soap. Have so many soaps still to use up, just broke a piece off my Lush man in the moon soap for the next soap. ****scuttles off to look at the Boots website>>>>>>>so easily led this month!Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -

Thats why God invented trifle...My oven is playing silly !!!!!!s at the moment too - think the gas bits must need a clean or something, cos nothing I put in is cooking in the time its meant to - its just not getting hot enough:??
2 UU today :j another soap (YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and the random perfume with the faux pearl in it. that wasnt finished, but I got sick of it spluttering !! WIBA?? no to either of them - cant remember the perfumes name, and the soap was just a blue soap. did lather nicely to be fair, but didnt really make me feel clean !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Hi ladies
I am so definately on track with this mission now, I really have to make every spare penny streeeeeeetch. We booked a holiday to Florida on Sunday for next August (328 days away if anyone's interested!) and DH and I need to save enough up to have a blast and buy all the park tickets we want. The tickets are looking to be about £1300 at the moment. MiL is paying the first £10K of the holiday and we and Bil/Sil have to split the rest of the cost between ourselves. We then have park tickets and spends.
I reckon we;ll need £4500. We've got £400 to pay towards the holiday and £1300 for tickets which would leave £2800. I'm hoping to have £3k spending money to take. So basically can spend no money on anything at all up until then! I'm booking in extra shifts (I have 3 this week) and think I'll need to do 45 extra nights. Unfortunately, this means that I'll have to do some not on my unit because there just aren't that many available.
So excited thoughDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
VALM - that new LE sheer skin tint sounds interesting. Let us know what it's like.
I am really impressed by this and am definitely getting some for my hols although it won't be the QVC kit - mainly because I don't really need the tonic and moisturiser even though these are technically "freebies" there's no point in adding to my stash. Wow haven't I learnt something from this thread. So instead I'm having a nosey at Ebay for it.
Anyway, I read some reviews of this product before I tried it and most people were saying that they found it unsuitable for oily skin. I have combination skin and can be very oily on my T zone. The first time I applied it I applied too much and Emma said I looked like my face was caked in make up whilst MrM said my tone looked evened out. Yesterday, I used less and the saying less is more is definitely true. Did find that my chin felt oily towards the end of the day but that's better than feeling that way round about lunch time, right? I used the beige 02 sachet first and now want to see how bare the bare one is before purchasing.Hi ladiesI am so definately on track with this mission now, I really have to make every spare penny streeeeeeetch. That's so exciting Kaz. We are going 4 weeks on Friday - not that I'm counting. I am soooo giddy. We have our park tickets in hand and if you want any tips let me know. A recommended read is the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World - it's hefty but you'd be surprised at the amount of information in there. They also provide touring plans which we always take with us as they save us loads of time in the queues. Happy planning. x
Some more UUs for me. Whilst tidying the bathroom on Sunday I came across some sachets of body lotion which I dug out and used. They were 2 x d'palomo ones (white grape and white grape and fig). Both very nice but WNBA as I have loads of body lotion. Also used a sachet of Veet hair minimising cream. WNBA as it's too watery. Needless to say I smelt a bit funny on Sunday with the clashing fragrances.
Also UU a travel sized Herbal Essences shampoo.
Went shopping in my stash for a TBS Pink Grapefruit body scrub - have to keep this up now that the holiday is looming - and a matching body butter.
Also went in there and pulled out all my travel sizes. Have plenty of shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. Could do with another bottle of conditioner and a travel sized cleanser between Emma and I and that should be that.
Also painted my nails last night in OPI Elephantastic Pink. Took me ages to get the top off cos loads of lacquer has dried around the neck of the bottle!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Kaz - holiday sounds fab - overtime not so but it will be worth it
Valm - OPI Elephantastic Pink - is that the colour of drunk elephants :rotfl:
Trudji - our oven's on the blink too - blew itself out yesterday - we had to open all the doors and windows to let the gas out
It's been a really quiet month for me on the toiletries front - no IN's but no UU's to dent the total eitherStill - I guess it means that Oct/Nov should be good
I have put an Avon order in but that doesn't come until next month so:rotfl:
I'm looking forward to all the xmas gift catalogues coming out in the next couple of weeks. I cut them up and make a personalised version for OH so he has some clue what to buy me :rotfl:
Going on a spontaneous trip to London tomorrow - we got train tickets for £1 each way- and going to London Zoo (unless it rains when we will go to Tussauds instead). I'm exhausted thinking about it lol.
Hope y'all are having a great day :cool:0 -
Got the samples to test this morning Sarah*A!
Love the envelopes and paper :rotfl:
